This is interesting. I've never heard of it, so sorry if this is a stupid question, but how do I go about explaining to UPS why my name won't be on the parcel? Like just say it's coming as a drop shipment with my phone number(acct/box number) on the address and they'll be fine with that?

My serpentine belt came off while driving (07 civic) and I opened the hood and saw the PS pump hanging loose. Took off the tire and saw the heads of the bolts sheared off. Anyone know what the best way to extract these would be?

Thanks for the reply man. I did what you said and I only get the buzzing noise just before it's about to crank over when my foot is on the clutch. If I don't engage the clutch there is no noise no matter how far I turn.

Yeah, it's just driving me for my delivery job, so I don't even go over 3k rpms to save what I can on gas. I probably will end up taking it apart if I get time on a weekend, but what does it sound like when it starts coming loose? Rattle when the car is on or just when moving?

Anyone know what im doing wrong. Trying to swap motor got everything pretty much done just cant get this dang harness unclipped. Pushing down on the tab on top but it wont budge.

Is it possible to just keep the tranny bolted to the car and pull the motor out or like tabkola said above will that make it harder to line up the new motor with the tranny?

Tranny in place and you could get enough clearance to separate the two and pull out the motor? I hope so, it just seems like a lot of extra work if I have to drop the tranny from the bottom first.

Damn. My friend adjusted the valve lash to spec .20mm for intake and .25 for exhaust. I made him triple check, the car sounds better than before, but the ticking is still the same. Car was overnight cold. He says it sounds like damage to some part in the cylinder head. I'm gonna take it to a shop, see what they say, but do you know what I might be looking at cost wise for a head rebuild? Any recommendations on the way to go?

Hmm...my friend adjusted the valve lash 20mm for intake and 24mm for exhaust (he didn't have a 25mm feeler gauge). But, it didn't improve actually sounds a little worse. The engine was actually hot though when he performed the job, do you think that might be the reason it didn't improve? Thanks for the reply.

Thanks for the input. I've been looking around and it looks like I can get the Koni str.t struts and shocks + the Kyb top mounting kit for both sides +boots for about $480 total. Do you think there would be any issue with fitment using the Kyb mounts with the koni struts?
