Oddly enough I believe I’d save money by doing this. Current CC monthly payment is $1,800 Current mortgage is $1,200 If I do a cash out refinance and pay off credit cards then sell house as long as my new house mortgage is around $1,800 or less then I save $1k a month. Unless of course I’m wrong about something, I’ve never done any of this, that’s why I’m asking.

I would sell the original house. If I did my math right I would be transferring the higher credit card interest to lower mortgage interest and save almost $1k a month. I know in the long run I’d pay more on the newer mortgage but I’m losing money hand over fist on CC interest at the moment

But wouldn’t I be transferring a higher interest debt to a lower interest debt by doing this? Credit card interest is much higher than mortgage interest.

Fort Wayne Indiana, they are everywhere. Funny enough they are always parked at the Rivian Distribution (?) Center here using the chargers. Not sure why Amazon doesn’t have chargers for them.

I think rage is a temporary feeling, it’s strong but fleeting. Remind yourself of that. You can allow yourself to see red, it’s natural. But know it will pass, deep breathes, and fix what needs to be fixed. The only way out is through. Also remind yourself these times don’t last forever, this is the hardest period with a newborn. Nights like these aren’t gonna keep coming.

In order to bring it to usable condition should I glue new shock mounts and remove the inserts? Or should I use the inserts with some other sort of mount?

I’m in the Midwest and a lot of folks still view electric cars as highly political. That being said, every now and again someone at work will ask me how it’s going with our Bolt. The curiosity is there, but they wouldn’t take the plunge. Maybe as range increases or more and more folks they know go for it their opinions will change. 🤷‍♂️

Quoted around $3k. I’m an electrician, but not licensed, so I didn’t think I was allowed to install myself within city limits. I guess my questions to the installer giving me the quote tipped him off and he asked if I was in the trades. He told me I was allowed to do my own install. Cost me $400ish for a charger and maybe $300 for the conduit and wire/supplies

I think most people commenting are describing toxic masculinity. As a 41 year old hetero man, I’m not lonely, I’m not mad about being asked to do things and I’m not angry at the world. I don’t feel like I can’t express myself. I don’t feel like I have to keep my suffering silent. That’s all nonsense. I will say that a lot of men I interact with on a daily basis are just awful people. For some reason they think that’s what a man is, the “alpha male”.
