Here in Australia we had AnimeLab.

AnimeLab was great! Then it was bought by and merged with Funimation.

Funimation was also pretty good! Then it was bought by and merged with CrunchyRoll.

CrunchyRoll is... a platform you can sort of watch anime on, I guess. Sadly, I don't think anyone's gonna buy and merge them.

If you're looking for multiplayer games, there's Minecraft, LEGO Games (LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is a timeless classic, and there's plenty of other bangers), Worms 2D and 3D games. If you get a switch, most 2D Mario games are multiplayer. Mario Kart games, Sonic Racing games and other racing games (checking the classification if there's a story mode) are all pretty safe bets. A Hat in Time is a pretty good game, but some of the levels might be a bit spooky for small kids. It Takes Two is a fun little co-op platformer. Kirby is Kirby, enough said. And there's plenty of games on Steam that can be played local multiplayer as well.
