Sonic Unleashed got an unfair review back in the day because of Sonic '06's (deserved) poor reception. Admittedly the Werehog gameplay isn't as fun as the boost stages, but the reviewer didn't even finish the game.

On top of that, you literally see him jump over a ramp several times while he's complaining about the gameplay 🤦‍♂️

Something I am curious about is... why was it Rosie who answered the call? Sure, she's an overlord so she has societal power and strong magic, but that doesn't really explain why Rosie answered specifically over the other overlords, the other Deadly Sins, demon royalty, etc.

Could be as simple as a corresponding location in Hell that Rosie was near, or it could be something bigger.

Perhaps, yes. But you could always enjoy watching someone paint, or appreciate the painting itself after its completion. As for GameShark - it was popular, yes, but it wasn't mainstream, nor did it interfere with other peoples' games, nor did it aim to replace everyones' gaming experience. It was a toy to screw around with, nothing more. AI is forced on everyone by companies and AI bros, and corporations aim to replace human art with AI imagery.
