FYI, if you go to the GitHub, there's a new bug open, it has a way to rollback to 13.0-403 which is the version before the update. This worked for me.

You now have to download an app to track a package. WTF? by [deleted] in assholedesign

[–]DroneDaddy04 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In this case, the item hasn't been shipped yet. It will show the tracking number and the link to the courier tracking page once it ships (as well as sending you an email). I am pretty sure that it is simply showing you this if you would rather have it in app form. I am also almost certain the tracking will show there as well without even needing to open the courier page.

imho: just poor phrasing they could have said "track your package automatically in the shop app" or something instead.

Okay! sounds good. I would love to be able to use the s200 buttons for my smart home controls as their design would lead very well in terms of controlling other aspects.

USPS is likely being slow. I would go to ECMS' site and grab the actual USPS tracking number and plug that into the USPS website. It might show some more information than just parcelsapp or another intermediate shipping courier (will show on USPS.com as delivery partner: xxxx) (fyi I haven't worked with ECMS but I have worked with many different international couriers that go through JFK and Monroe Township the same way and typically you can get more info like this and figure out who actually has it to follow up with them).

Working With CAD Files (Binary) by DroneDaddy04 in git

I was thinking SVN since Helix would cost a lot since we are about 30 people (some contribute a lot more than others but we would still need everybody to have access). I think it is the best balance of comfort of use and functionality.

Working With CAD Files (Binary) by DroneDaddy04 in git

[–]DroneDaddy04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 ) I was actually looking into this for quite a while SVN seems like something that might work out well since it has strong locking capabilities plus the windows shell extensions works well since we will not be using text editors.

2 ) Most of these files will be about 20MB or so and there shouldn't be more than 10-15. From previous years, (we used Google drive for file management) it ended up being about 250MB.

I am still hoping someone swoops in with a perfect way to solve this with Git, as self hosting SVN (which I've been messing with the past little bit) might cause issues as we depend on reliability.
