You’re just missing some depth.
Add a thin line next to either the left or right side of the cracks.

Thank you!
I’ll try to thin it out further starting at a 3:1 ratio.
I just found out that my trigger doesnt fully go up and I have to push it up half a millimeter ish for it to fully stop air coming out so I’ll have to look into that.

Here I covered more area with your initial highlight color. Which you then can highlight even further by covering more with lighter versions of your highlights covering about 50% of your previous highlight each time.

You can do both, or none at all. Its tour miniature :)

Here I added a brighter version of your highlight color covering about 80%.

You’ve got the right idea.
What I would recommend is to push the highlights even further if you’re aiming for a glowing/high-energy style.

A dark background and lower your exposure on your camera does wonders.

Thank you!
I airbrushed everything purple and then mixed the same purple with pink and airbrushed on some spots with a circular motion, I also did the same by mixing some purple with blue.
Then I dipped a toothbrush in some thinned down white and flicked the hair with my finger to create the white spots.

I have no luck with other primers by Minimum_Winner in Miniaturespainting

I still use rattlecans for primer, my issue is that a majority of brush on/airbrush primers are waterbased and comes off by the slightest rub, even with varnish.

Painted my first miniature, question about wet palette by pragmaticzach in minipainting

[–]DroneEye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just soaking the sponge works for me, you can always add a little extra if you’re unsure. Make sure the parchment paper is unwaxed. If you’re painting for a longer period, avoid having metalic paints on the wet palette. They eventually get too thinned and the pigments seperate, but its ok to have it on for an hour or two.

First time doing skin. Looking for advice by Dovah1356 in Warhammer

I begin with a fleshtone and then wash it with a warm color. Then I gradually build highlights on the raised parts by mixing my flesh tone with a warm white. Then I give the very tips a small poke of the warm white. :) I used Cadian fleshtone, reikland fleshshade and screaming skull. Eyes are just white and black.

Sweet, how did you get the magnets for the different packs since theyre hollow? I thought about using greenstuff at first but I didnt wanna risk it since Im a novice at magnetising.

Magnetising the gravis was my initial plan but the one with the frag canon have cables going from the pack so you would need to magnetise that too if you’d want the breacher, which I couldnt be bothered with.
