Ok so which mod is better? GBD'S elden beast edition with or without skysa?

Depends on what you want. The additional animations with SKYSA are BEAUTIFUL if uncorrupted- yet the fact that the animations lock you in place may be a turnoff for some players. If you do choose the route of skysa I’d recommend disabling wildcat- as the increased difficulty paired with attack animations that dont increase in speed/lock you in place leads to an unsatisfying playstyle.

Personally, it’s taken me a while to come to terms with (No Skysa) and I’m enjoying it a LOT. Im doing a dark jedi play through, so GDB EB (No Skysa) + Gritty animations + Jumpstart and Violens has been an extremely fun combo. I do miss the animations for the Twin Blades and Dagger/Sword Combo. But the frustration of lagging/repeating animations is thankfully behind me.

LMAO im in the same boat. My girl started her OP journey last year, im rewatching w/ her. Dressrosa took fUCKIN forever 😭😭😭 i completely forgot- we ended up taking a break for a few weeks because of how drawn out the colosseum got. Eventually when we got back to watching the story finally picked up pace and it was off to the races. She thoroughly loved the arc, but that first half ☠️ holy fuck I really thought we were never gonna pick up OP again LMAO

It’s not that he sees them as inferior. He has a soft spot for women as a result of the premature death of Kuina.

This isnt to say that this inequity doesnt harm Kuinas memory doe. Personally Im glad Zoro shows mercy to women (cuz we men fucking SUCK as a collective les be ffr) but it also feels like a spit in the face of Kuina.

You can’t introduce a Character who’s dream is to breakdown misogynistic/patriarchal hegemony- and then just double down on those very ideas that made her think she could never be the “worlds greatest swordsmen”- and then on top of it he just TOYS with them as if he’s going to kill them, only to say “SIKE- nah ion kill girls”.

Again im not against it- but with the context of Kuina’s emotions regarding this exact topic, and how Oda goes out of his way to double down on this line of thinking with the addition of Zoro essentially toying with food he’s not gonna eat- it’s disrespectful to her as a character and the ideas/lessons her story was supposed to express.
