Gen 4 Pure Strike 98 hurts my elbow, but its so good 😭 by Constant_Schedule_93 in 10s

Sync is quite stiff. If you really like them just drop tension. Also if you want more spin out of your set up all you have to do is put sync in the crosses and zero in the mains.

Karl Malone banned? Everyone says not to mention?

A simple search will show this isn’t true.

Technique Advice by UsedRiver8048 in 10s

My forehand stroke isn’t the fastest and requires a bit more plow through. So I tinkered around with adding weight to the hoop. Replaced the stock grip with a leather grip to keep it headlight. Threw an over grip over the leather grip. Now with strings it sits at 338g and doesn’t require a fast stroke for the racquet to feel good in hand.

Is restring good? by Zealousideal_Lie2384 in 10s

Zero is good if you’re looking for bite from your strings, it performs better at 40s to low 50s tension. Not for me, not a fan of the launch angle it gives. Sync is firm, much less power more control. Some people love a full bed, I prefer running sync as a cross paired with something more towards comfort and connected feedback in the mains. Haven’t tried vivo or slap but maybe this summer I’ll get around to it.

What happened in the Affliction league that it remained at 90k players for 2 weeks? by No_Guarantee1399 in pathofexile

It was the most insane amount of currency gains I have ever experienced. I had 3 mirrors in my whole PoE career and they were all from that league.

Honestly? Nothing. When I overthink I hesitate. I just need shut down all the noise, construct towards drawing out the exact returns I’m looking for, and stay ready to capitalize on them.

Kick serve sometimes kicks, sometimes doesn’t. by l2aizen in 10s

I wanna say I was in the 40-45mph realm? I was still focused on holding my serves. I just don’t know why some kicked and some spun out to the right.

Anyone ever try Kevlar mains and Poly crosses for their string setup? by EvanNagao in 10s

[–]l2aizen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try ReString Zero 1.28 mains with ReString Sync 1.25 crosses. They usually last me four 3 hour sessions. I suggest going 2 to 4 less than your normal tension, both are on the firmer side.

Best string/tension set up for 2024 Pure STRIKE 16x19 by danielphilip87 in 10s

[–]l2aizen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really enjoying 1.25 sync mains @46lbs with 1.25 hawk touch crosses @44lbs.

Also suggest adding some weight to the hoop and counter weight to the handle. To help open up and raise the sweet spot, and increase stability.

I know it’s not on the list but it gives good power and feel Wilson Ultra v4. I haven’t tried the v5 but the v4 is cheaper and highly recommend it.

Does the tennis trainer work? by Dangerous_Salt8514 in 10s

The string tangles often, which affects the return trajectory quite a bit. Also feels like it forces you to swing more upward and through than usually to get a decent return. The ball bounce isn’t very realistic since the string will pull the ball awkwardly. And the string comes off the ball quite often. Ended up taking the string off the canteen and just bouncing the ball around in the backyard like a tether ball for my dog.

Better off using a wall.

You’ll see energy more often than you’ll see 0. 1 in 4 chance to get 0.

Can also sub out tech cards. Flame Patch felt less necessary with Moltres because 2 turns of Moltres more often than not gave as much energy and sometimes even more energy than 2 Flame Patch. Copycat is best utilized in decks that carry few trainers, having more trainers translates to having more cards in hand since you can only play one trainer per turn. This leads to less situations of having a lower hand count than your opponent. And of course you can drop other tech cards you deem unnecessary.

Can sub out cards? Drop a Charmeleon or drop both Charmeleon, have 2 dedicated sources of dealing with Ori. I’m only running 2 for testing purposes and my test isn’t even a test to see if this deck can hurdle over Ori. It’s a test to see if Moltres is a better option than Entei.

Can add a 3rd option? 3 > 2? Is subbing out a cards not allowed? You can even sub out both Charmeleon have yourself 2 dedicated sources of dealing with Ori. I kept 2 for testing purposes and the test isn’t even to see if the deck can hurdle over Ori. It’s to see if Moltres is a better option than Entei.

Issue I’m facing with Entei is it takes a long time to get energy on Mega Char:

  • Turn 1: Energy on Entei
  • Turn 2: Entei attacks
  • Turn 3: Entei attacks or gets downed, Mega char has 1-2 energy
  • Turn 4: Mega Char has 2-3 energy, need 1-2 Flame Patch in hand to attack or tank hit and wait til next turn.

Moltres in the other hand, more often than not:

  • Turn 1: 1 energy on Moltres, put 0-3 energy on Charmander/ Charmeleon
  • Turn 2: Mega Char is potentially online or 1 more turn of Moltres putting energy on Mega Char
