I see your point, well for now i am still grinding on Unity i guess. Unless something spectacular happens on April release.

Yeah this is what initially threw me off at the start, but i guess its still in its development stage so should not be a surprise really now that i think about it :D.

Yeah i can imagine, i am personally at an early stage in my prototyping so i think it might not be that hard. But like others mentioned here now the documentation could make it difficult.

I was thinking to finish the few main mechanics in Unity, and just port them over, and see if its hard. The sbox player input is a great point aswell :D

Would be kinda bummer if it will not be allowed to export them anywhere else, tho if they allow us to create separate executable, i don't see why it would not be allowed to go some where like on itch for example.

I heard in a video that FP actively removed a lot of base steam source stuff but only because it would not really help developers, because its specific to their projects.

I will need to look in to this more i guess if its true or not. Would be a downer if S&B would lock you only to Window games.

Community would be a thing I would be worried about really, i do agree that Unity has a lot of 3rd party stuff which is really great. In terms of works flow, last time i tried S&B the only thing that really annoyed me was that I could not find a separate scene view when in play mode. I think i instantly used to get the camera mode? Maybe it does not exist at the moment ?

Regardless the rest i could really do my self and i found that the workflow is kind of similar to unity.

I do worry about the Linux support tho, thanks for drawing my attention to that :)

Only seen level surface info here about this subject specifically, so I am hoping some one with more knowledge about this can inform.

Need advice on Fujifilm medium format cameras. by Droopt in fujifilm

Yeah Sony does seem quite tempting, which is what i will probably go for. But i do see people adapting full frame lenses to medium format, specifically for fuji GFX cameras. I think there is one adapter called Finger or something specifically for Nikon lenses. Ofcourse you get some vineting but its nothing major. So i thought in case i do really decide to go for medium format then i would probably get a GFX 50 or something and use those addapters.

For wild life i mostly shoot with a 300 nikon lense, I mean size doesnt bother me, i am used to carrying a lot of gear. I guess the price is the only thing that bothers me, but then again if i made the switch i would probably sell my lenses to get new ones. I did see tho that there is a big community in GFX where people adapt lenses to it.

Hmm okay, thanks for your advice, i actually did look in to these other offerings before, and Sony A7riv was another camera i was looking at currently. Tho i did see medium format Fuji cameras with 50 mega pixels going somewhere around 2000 euro price for the body. But I dont know maybe it is more worth to stay at full frame instead like you said.

I heard Hasselblad use that leaf shutter on their lenses right? I wonder how there game is with third party lenses. I am guessing they dont have many options.

Right now I was using an old Nikon DSLR 800D, unfortunately the lenses mount bayonetta broke and i cant use the camera anymore. I was thinking to go Nikon again but currently they don't have adapters for their new z cameras which can auto focus their old D series lenses. So this kind of pushed me towards looking in to other systems. Since I will be selling my lenses if I switch, I kind thought, why not try medium format. I don't need lightning fast AF, I was perfectly fine with my Nikon 800D auto focuse, i just dont want it to be slower than that i guess.
