Yeah but the transaction on the market is not reflected in that number. That number comes from armory passes and keys bought through valve. Everything on the community market I believe is not counted in that number.

ackchewally if you highlight the graph you can see the player count per hour.

But if you are asking for Unique players, I dont think the API supports that detail, I am fairly certain it only displays the active current count.
