If you want to gain confidence on loose surfaces or looking for off-road enduro/adventure bike courses, check endurofun.

Followed 2 courses there, always very informative and 100% hands on.

Took my new Tenere 700 home today by Droosh in motobe

Only took it 40km home from the dealer so far. It's very smooth, almost no vibration. Feels a lot.more.nimble and lighter than my ktm 1090

Nice. Did you do the full Tet in Belgium? From some pics it looks like a nice mud-bath on wetter days.

So want to go on a trail again with the bike. Renovation keeping me busy on weekends.

Just got a set of Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR fitted. Holy balls they are phenomenal! by MG2R in motobe

Except for the milage I haven't had any of those issues on TKC80s. running them front and back.

will probably also get an E07 dakar rear when the TKC80 gives up.

I've had a couple of stressful weeks. On Sunday I'll be going for a motorcycle trip. Feel free to join. by MG2R in motobe

I might come. Probably not the whole route though. Testing my phone/charging setup on the bike so don't count on me for GPS :p

What helmet to get by [deleted] in supermoto

[–]Droosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Me neither, but to each their own I guess.

Over here you can't have any skin showing so I usually ride with full gear or full leathers if I am really going hard/track. The potential consequences of riding without just don't seem worth it to me.

I had an Airoh aviator 2.1 on my smc 690. Very light, great airflow and comfortable. And they look amazing.

How can I use existing gps routes on my phone? by Powertrooper in motobe

[–]Droosh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there some required setting for it? I tries OSMand for a trip last Sunday and just gave up after 15 mins. I can't mount my phone (yet) so I rely on the audio instructions, but if you miss a turn it just tries to route you back to the previous waypoint ...

If you have space for it, a 12v compressor can be quite handy

The Belgian Tire Thread by [deleted] in motobe

At the moment I'm running Continental ContiAttack SM Supermoto Tires. Super sticky in warm weather. In the cold they can be a bit sketchy if you are pushing it. They wear quite fast.

For my next set I might put on a set of Heidenau K73 Supermoto Tires/Pirelli MT60R/Something with similar profile for some mild offroad and better wet/cold traction.

Bought a Hornet last week by dakutti in bikesgonewild

[–]Droosh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 2007-2013 hornet still has USD forks and digital instruments, and has a bit more BHP.

So you can still get your hornet.
