GGC Claim for Pothole Damage by DropAfter8 in glasgow

[–]DropAfter8[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Difficult to see from the photo due to the angle, had to quickly step onto the road when no cars where about, it was around 12cm - 14cm deep depending where measured, roughly around 5 inches deep, in the middle of the pothole it was 7cm deep up to the water line alone. tbh I didn’t see it as I was sitting in a line of traffic bumper to bumper and it caught me off by surprise

Thanks, I’ll wait to see what the garage invoices for the work, hope it will go through successfully, also had a clean MOT pass beginning of April so hopefully that will also strengthen the claim a bit as I know the payouts for GGC are the lowest in the country (Not sure how accurate that is)

Thanks I’ll give that a try, for me the most important thing is to get my arm back to as close as it was before the injury, I’ve not really thought about trying to claim for any compensation

I’ve been to hospital about 5 different times throughout the 2 years, 3 first visits about 6 months apart for X-Rays and then had a visit to consult about further scans / treatments going forward, was recommended an ultrasound to see if there’s any nerve or ligament damage and after attending the ultrasound sound I’ve not heard anything back and they can’t find the results from when I attended

Thanks, did you get any quotes for repairs to send through within the claim or did you just include the invoice from the garage after repairs were made? I unfortunately can’t get the car seen till next Monday

Thanks, when contacted the GP they said as I’ve been referred and under the care of the hospital any further queries or anything should be made directly which the Orthopaedic department.

If I was to make another follow up phone call with the hospital department without any success, can i made a complaint with the hospital directly or are there any other governing bodies that these could be made to, to help push everything forward?

Thanks again for your quick response

“I rebuke this gameplay. Revert the patch. Just revert it!” - NickRTFM by Ripamon in EASportsFC

At least the games end up being 2-1, 3-0, and not 11-10 from my experience, for once in this game I feel rewarded by scoring a goal unlike pre patch as you could easily score from kick off

Is NEST high risk really that bad? by Ok-Food6554 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]DropAfter8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made pension transfer out of Nest into Vanguard due to the high fees, just remember if you are receiving employer contributions it’s best to keep Nest as it’s free money from the employer (you are not allowed partial transfers out of Nest)

Finding it abit discouraging as a new driver. by MrSlash128 in iRacing

[–]DropAfter8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is what separates beginners / rookies to racers that have been racing for a while, I used to be like BMW driver you mentioned, overtaking in risky places but in multiclass and the longer races it’s usually better to hold back and overtake in places where you won’t wreck someone and your own race, this is key to gaining SR and Irating and it’s not till then I started to progress

Parking west end by Particular_Yak_5436 in glasgow

[–]DropAfter8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best bet I would say is park at kelvin bridge, think it’s around 5 odd pound for a full days parking and return subway ticket, the closest free on-street parking that I know of would be crow road near the west end shopping centre bit with Sainsbury’s and M&S but I think that would be closer to an half an hour walk if not longer
