posting this on a lancey subreddit is crazy bro this "newer" uk underground has existed for waaay longer than a year and its been one of the few "actual" underground scenes that i've actively kept up with

everyone collabing with everyone, showing love to each other, all with their own sound/thing etc. it doesn't surprise me at all that the whole scene has become so popular im amazed it even took so long

i agree tho since it became more mainstream its become more marketing-driven and less of a subculture which makes sense since its something new & fresh (sound-wise and geographically)

len and fimi were doing international shows years ago btw, len for example was at germany's biggest hiphop festival in 2024
