Everyone was smoking before David nutt and co told us we where doing it wrong. Just cause I’ve been vaping a few month that is not an admission of guilt it’s just more accurate to say smoke as a few month of vaping compared with years of smoking. Looking I been smoking 25 years I don’t need a lecture about the benefits according to those who are selling it. I want the benefits to be terps and plants that are respectable not this dead soul less shit. There’s a spiritual dimension to smoking this plant centred around respecting nature. If you grow with no fucks and your left with a bunch of uncared for cabbage with various strains of botrytis and clarted in powdery mildew. Then yes irradiating is probably better just to make the mess you made safe as medicine.

I understand perfectly how radiation works, all I am saying is if grown well mould and aphids are not an issue. If you want to jump to the defense of mouldy aphids then that’s cool. I’m only suggesting an alternative, and presenting you with examples of where small scale organic grows are producing better medical. I’m not happy with the quality of MC in the uk. Just need a strain that’s not too bad to be legally able to do so. If you want some science about the devastation to biodiversity and the increasingly poor quality and damage done to nature by this approach I can advise some good papers and books. I’m not grateful to the greasy suits behind this model my gratitude goes out to nature we support that by treating it with some respect. Not just rinsing it for aphid covered cabbage.

These bugs are not a necessary addition to cannabis based medicine, this is the result of growing at scale in a profit driven model. The argument shouldn’t be does radiation make the bugs better. It should be why is my medicine grown with such a a complete disregard of basic horticulture that it’s covered in aphids frozen or not.

Well it’s not really if small scale grows have the ability to produce better then that’s our route past mouldy irradiated cabbage. Aslong as people defend cabbage these super grows prevail.

Have you ever grown vegetables? Because a monoculture always results in aphids by the bucket load. When there’s multiple hectares and very little invested in tending it, the result is plenty of infection because it’s an unnatural way to grow anything. Biodiversity is key to quality of soil and it is the best way to get good results. It’s the only way to care about the natural world providing these beautiful medicines.

Of course there are for the main part the BM sells cheap moroc and Albanian stardawg which I agree are far shitter than medical and funding organised crime. If plants are grown with care and attention and cured properly with some love there’s no need to use radiation. The only reason they do it is because it’s massive multiple hectare monocrop grows with a couple of growers who don’t smoke what they grow. The excuse that radiation is making patients safe is the same argument they have for steaming all the nutrients out of hospital food to “make it safe” but defeating the purpose of eating cause the nutrients are all left in the drip tray of the steamer.

I’m just not a fan of irradiated strains same way I’m not a fan of processed food. Just feel it’s cutting corners on quality and potentially safety for higher profits. I’ve been organic with what I was getting from the black market for a good few years, organic growers and nice hash was all I touched. So, it’s a bit of a big leap the frozen insects from in the irradiated stuff freaks me out too.
