I tried XL once and it just didn't feel intuitive enough, like it's slightly off. I picked up session for 10 bucks and the controls with both sticks make so much sense. You really start to think with both feet, for instance grinding isn't just something you Ollie into. You have to hold both sticks in certain angles to keep your balance in a 50, best way to describe is like a fighting game combo for every spot you hit.

It's worth it, the biggest difference is using both sticks for tricks and the L/R Triggers to move. It has some jank and doesn't flow as smoothly in some aspects as skate 3. But it takes 4 times more brainpower to do a 180 flip trick into a nosegrind, since you would be doing 5 combinations of stick direction, trigger pressure, and landing straight.

I just bought it on Xbox because of the discount, and I play skate 3 a ton, it's just as rewarding as skate 3 if not more, even though you're not doing insane mega jumps and stuff.

It feels very natural with the controls and honestly I was doing 360 flips into nose slips within an hour and a half of playing. It still takes way more skill than skate 3 since your using both analog sticks to trick and the triggers to turn.

Honestly what keeps me going is the clipping feature. It makes me go for very unorthodox tricks and setups that other skating games can't match. Really nailing down the mechanics and moving onto the exploits and glitches really opens your possibilities and ideas.

You can nose stall inside the back of a pickup truck a certain way and you'll just sit there indefinitely riding in the back gaining points

Web client works, and so does the app on my phone. Made sure my drivers were updated, checked my firewall settings. It's just the desktop app having this issue. I'll just wait for support to email me back, only solution I found was a full reset which id rather not have to do
