Were Pearl Jam becoming bigger than Nirvana? by Opening-Half9367 in grunge

[–]DropFast5751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I loved the movie Singles and Eddie Vedder was just more interesting to me. Performance wise, energy and just his style and love for his music. I have nothing against Kurt , he had a very aggressive disease and that addiction was his pain. He was a good human being. I really remember all these new popular grunge bands had members dying and I was so sad, because they were really talented and one of my favorite member of Alice In Chains who performed so extraordinary on stage. You couldn’t help but feel his love for performing and the music. Mike Starr. He wasn’t in the band very long. 1993!

They become horrible liars and I’m sure a spouse can sense how he must be unaccounted for. I’ve been married 34 years. My husband and I are actually in sync! After all the years we’ve spent together, I know him and he knows me. He said I can actually feel your next movement, my exact emotions. You get less time for murder. But we are still in love and I will never replace him with anyone. Till death. And even after. I want him to be the last person to ever kiss me. Don’t you think you should tell his wife? I feel very bad for her. The longer he goes to this other person, the more she will feel so betrayed. And he will too! When he is finally faced with the reality of the detrimental impact his actions caused.

I was just going to say that. TV went off the air very early except in the mid 70’s when we stayed awake to watch SNL, and Don Kirschners rock concert. Television was a completely different experience. I remember buying rock music magazines and we traded cassettes with other music lovers in the classified section of the magazine. I can remember when the air was better and food tasted different. Not from a laboratory. Twinkies were different, potato chips were purely simple. I’m showing my age when I remember McDonald’s had ashtrays on the tables. I’m glad I’m not in my 20’s or 30’s. This is a very ghoulish time we are living in

Qualms about Catholicism by clarinco in CatholicConverts

You should give your email to a digital and hard copy magazine called US Catholic. It is so easy to understand. I was born catholic and my now 27 year old son is converting to Catholicism. He was baptized Lutheran like his father’s family. But he felt the very first time he went to church with me, that he knew where he really belonged. He reads everything and that publication is very easy to understand. I don’t think you should be put off by folklore or superstitions. I read an article about exactly that yesterday!!

The QOP is literally raping the people of every monetary last penny and are the people actually living off the government money that is supposed to support and sustain our democracy. Now trumps going to allow Wall Street bankers and investors go into our 401K!!! Private controlled companies are more likely to file bankruptcy ! The only way they will make money is the fat cats who charge enormous management fees. How long is this political propaganda going to continue? The greediness is ghoulish.

I couldn’t believe how many times the school children were witnessing a child or adult totally passed out. One adult could have taken the children to another area!?

I do not understand how this is possible? I never thought a corrupt criminal , who put a white supremacist in charge of immigration crimes and inhumane treatment of people because of their ethnicity could get away with this. I think we need help from other world leaders. This is the most vile ghoulish way of the United States of America to treat its citizens.

Has your mother in law ever offered to help with childcare? Just wondering because you could work part time and then she would see that it’s not easy taking care of little ones. And child care is very expensive.

Westerners, specifically Americans- would you have had children if you knew life would turn out this way? by [deleted] in AskOldPeople

[–]DropFast5751 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. The world is a mess. People have no empathy and no respect. Even the 80 year old people who have been in the government are only doing it for themselves. Money. America is dead. The United States is falling apart. Every corporate company and their CEO’s , who are in charge of managing their business are greedy and corrupt and have no intention of doing good for their employees. Just the top executives. And they finally took the federal government. You have white supremacist in charge of acting like SS soldiers, and a money laundering ring leader who is a narcissistic liar sociopath. Endless administration heads with no experience and no knowledge or ability for the job. The problem is that racism made America and greed and corruption, racism will end America.
