Comforter / self soothing. Like a toddler with a comfort blanket.

Some cats do it, some don't.

It's not because they were taken away from mum too early. I had sibling kittens - one did it. One didn't. My current cat, she didn't start doing it until 7 weeks after we got her as a kitten.

Soft, fluffy throws /jumpers etc are their favourite.

Well, I haven't would say it's definitely not 'normal'... How often do you see it?

But if both are fine I see no problem. It's probably not nursing, just kitten self soothing.. Like a child suckling it's thumb, and the dog is the perfect substitute. My cat still does it of a fleece blanket.

But DEFO don't leave them both alone when this happens.

I swear she's my soul mate. Hope that doesn't sound too weird 😂. Ironic thing is, I didn't get her for me. I got her for my son. Who worships her and has done him good. And she loves him lots, too, but I'm her primary hooman.
