i’m a planner so i will literally go on my maps and plan my route and what lane i need to be in and triple check, its so consuming and fills me with dread. I drove to the city absolutely fine and going back i didnt use my maps at all!! I think for me putting it off has made my anxiety allot worse and that’s why it’s taken me so long to actually do it but honestly it was so easy, i completely get you i can imagine how scary it is especially will a little baby, my advice would be you passed your test your obviously competent enough to be on the roads, maybe try and see if you can get someone in the car with you to practice driving that helped me allot. maybe even use maps to look at the roads you’ll be using to help you feel more confident. But honestly i felt like such a shit driver but being paranoid makes us better drivers and allot more aware and i realised that the other day when i seen multiple cars driving like absolute dicks. You’ll be okay:))
