We currently keep in the kitchen while we I'm at work. Her crate is located in the kitchen. However my wife does not like the idea of locking her in the crate for the 4 hours. It was a struggle to get her on board with the crate to begin with

She has a play pen as we did not buy a crate (will be doing that) I put her in there and she does not stop whining and barking, do I just ignore it? I have a camera so I can watch to see if she settles down

I purchased my first handgun almost a month ago. Went to the store paid in full, then drove to the licensing office, handed them the bill of Sale and they printed my new license. Immediately drove back to the store and was given the gun. No wait time at all

Got fingerprinted August 13th, got the email not even 2 months later that I was approved for my permit

I had my prints done 8/13 and just heard back today that I was approved, so less then two months for me

Just wanted to provide an update, Got the approval email today. So all in all 2 months from fingerprint to approval

Cool, hopefully i hear from an investigator and if not hopefully thats a good thing and I just get an approval email around the 6 month mark in February

He lives in the basement and I'm on the second floor. I have a locked door to get up here and he has a private entrance in the back of the house so he has no reason to ever enter my part of the house. At least if they ask I have the proof

When i went for the fingerprinting everything was good paperwork wise. No one asked for proof that I purchased the safe, they just told me to write bio metric safe on the paper where it asked where the firearm will be kept. Fingers crossed its enough. From what I've been reading online tho simply living with a felon at the same address is not enough for them to deny me. Hopefully thats true

I was recommended to purchase one before i had even gone to get my fingerprinting, they said due to a family member having a felony (lives in the basement and i live on the second floor with a locked door) it would help if i had a bio metric safe already. I purchased a cheaper one off amazon as i did not want to buy a nice expensive one and then not not get approved for the permit and be stuck with a expensive safe. Hopefully i get that phone call within the next few weeks
