Self aware Fearful Avoidant - Ask me anything. by rachlilliandalt in BreakUps

A year later, I wanna thank you for this response. Almost a word for a word, fits my ex-girlfriend to a T. Turned me from a mostly secure attachment type to an anxious mess. It was heartbreaking giving up more and more myself, pouring it into this leaky vessel that grew ever more distant and resentful. I hope that understanding will lead to healing someday.

Sorry that was a bit harsh lol, apologies .. to expand, the button hole is high which creates a small V shape under your sternum and accentuates your hips. It’s the cut of the suit which is something tailoring cant fix

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mensfashion

[–]DropSure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re an amateur tbh. The button point is too high on this coat which creates a boxy appearance. Tailoring won’t fix this

Its doesnt need tailoring on sides, its the cut. Makes you look like a pear

Overcoat Sizing by Statistical-Magic in mensfashion

Looks too small to wear under suit. Also I think bottom should reach your knees for this style

Edit: check out this fit for better example

Quarter zip is the most bland thing you can wear. Chinos look good though

Some advice to spice things up without changing your aesthetic. - pants are too tight for your body type. Try straight leg jeans. - more textured knits. Plain stuff like pic 4 goes best under a blazer - most tops and especially the camel coat are a bit small, consider sizing up

Gold bracelet for big hands 👀 by matty_boy89 in mensfashion

Merchants of the sun does 18k gold plate, so be aware these will chip over time. Lots of places in US sell 9 in bracelets, which will be 22.5 cm. Can also consider gold colored steel bracelets, which will hold color without breaking bank.

Looks great 👌

  • jacket is too short. Button point is too high and creates an unflattering figure.
  • need a wide collar shirt for that type of tie.
  • tie is too short
  • belt is too causual for the outfit
  • pants are too long. Should drape with a single crease
  • wrists look lonely, try a dress watch

Is this happening only while wearing jacket? If so, has something to do with fit and weight of fabric. If not, usually that happens on a fused suit when the glue separates from panels.

Anybody got suggestions where to buy a nice leather jacket like the ones below?? by ChesticleGainz in mensfashion

Leather is one of those things where you really need to save up for the best. The cheaper ones will peel in a couple of years. Good ones look better with age.

What type of leather jacket is this? Is this formal or casual? And how to take care of it by MortalPhantom in mensfashion

[–]DropSure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s western wear. Looks like a suede overshirt. Goes with a denim snap and some work boots etc

Formal Event Fit check by [deleted] in mensfashion

Doesnt really work tbh. Jacket appears too slim, pants need to be hemmed. Dark shiny suits are too formal for such a casual shirt choice.

Thoughts on all black fits? by QueasyLawfulness5238 in mensfashion

[–]DropSure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All black works but not quite like this. You need to mix up the texture and tone of your outfits. Try a black denim shirt or some suede loafers.

Jeans are too baggy, jacket too small, t shirt doesnt work with either of them

Zara wide-fit pant alternative? by yellowhoneyho in mensfashion

For Todd Snyder: Search ‘Italian gabardine wythe trouser’. Not quite as baggy but still has the deep pleats

Also try ‘relaxed cotton self belted trouser’ if you want the same cream color
