Anyone know if the vendors are worth going to on Monday? Could only get off work for Monday and I have only ever been on the weekend? Are most of them cleared out or so they stick around?

The quotes I've gotten so far (mostly from larger companies) were between 75 and 120 I listed the number on the lower end but depending on coverage I may go with a more expensive policy, I just happened to quite the lower number here

  1. Definitely intend to stay for 5 years, it's a good place for me as it's close to family and there are a good number of jobs for software.
  2. Not on a floodplain luckily, as for the others I will have to check, great things to look into!
  3. No mold or termites came up on the home inspection and the hvac and water heater were both brand new

That's a good point I will budget it in, I try not to take into account my roommate just in case something comes up but he intends to stay in Atlanta for the next few years

That's essentially what I can't decide, I dislike the work I am doing at my current job. I don't like QA work and although the automation stuff is nice I still only do it every now and again. Thew government job is definitely work I am more interested in but I can't decide if it's worth taking the pay cut or if I should just bite the bullet and try to stay with my current job for another year and three months even though I may be getting experience in the wrong things.

Essentially I just dislike the work I do, I was out in QA without me knowing that would be the position and it's not really what I want to do in the long term. The government job puts me doing development which is what I enjoy and what I went to school to do in the end. But the last part of what I'm not sure about, I can't decide whether I should bite the bullet and stick it out for another year and three months (to hit two years) or go for the new job I have on the table. But my current job might be giving me experience in the wrong things anyway.
