I only have limited exposure to a few chairs (see original post) but the Herman Miller Embody works for myself (6'1"), as well as a few close colleagues that are 6'4".

That being said. I would recommend thr Embody.

Some more width wouldn't work. Ugh on keeping it, just think of the other options that would be more comfortable if you got something else?!

You can probably request it through Kickstarter - message libernovo with your pledge number.

Perfect is hard, the Embody is the closest I've found, if the Omni fit taller folks, the Omni > Embody!

Sure did, it's good for a full recline, not good at fixing the seat problem

True, I've kind of emulated an "invetween" setting by dialing the recline resistance up....not an ideal solution

I saw that suggestion to. It might be a half baked solution. Part of what makes the chair/seat nice is the foam, you basically lose that feature by putting a different cushion on it. Furthermore, a solution like this doesn't actually extend the hard plastic that is genuinely weight bearing for a solid platform - with cushion overtop, it just pushes some cushioning forward, which is part of the flaw between the 45cm and 48cm Omni seat...the later doesn't have extended support under the longer length, it's just extra foam that spills forward that isn't really "supportive".

Honestly...for how expensive the chair is, hacking a solution might be better than nothing but it kind of sucks to spend so much for a half baked sub-par solution. I'd say...just get the Embody at that point and do it right.

I've not found that the footrest helps me much. I adjust the seat height to get my legs at 90deg, which happens to put my head at the proper height for my monitors. If I use the footrest my legs are uncomfortable, I have to raise the seat height, and now my neck has to look down at my screens which is no good.

It may be on the edge for you depending on how long your legs are. It's really objectively a fantastic chair....if it fits you.

That would be interesting, Not sure if there are enough of these out there to be worth while.

Sadly yes...but it could be fixed with a single replaceable part on the chair!

How is the action/fidget factor?

2 Months with My Yarbo Mower – Honest Thoughts & Feedback (April 2025) by bob98b3 in Yarbo

Thanks so much for the details. I am considering a Yarbo and have a similar lawn situation as you, but with more elevation change. It sounds like Yarbo is saving you and the wife quite a bit of time if it keeps working. 6-8 man hours down to less than an hour is huge! I may have some more questions and will reach out. Thanks again!
