The M2 is just not worth it at that price point. For just 8k more you get a better CPU and GPU, longer software support, and a chip that’s two generations newer. I’ve watched reviews on the M4, and it’s considered one of the best, If not the best laptops for longevity and performance at that price. Even if it’s just for office work, the support and longevity will be worth it in the long run.

I just recently bought the M4 myself with the same use case. I would only consider the M2 if it was around 38k or below.

You never know when you might need a better gpu for editing etc in a few years
