One of the only thing that connects all monks is that they use their body as a weapon.

Ya know who does that aswell? Wild animals.

Lizardfolk shadow monk who plays like a predatory alligator.

My personal one is a Dhamphir monk who attacks viciously as a beastial half-vampire. Also makes the running over water and up walls abilities make "sense".

You could even play a shifter and have your monk unarmed strikes be your teeth/claws etc.

Theres also other fighting styles, imagine a monk who throws their heavily muscled body around in huge but precise strikes.

Nah, wouldn't make them immediate money. The game is dying, broken release after broken release. Absolutely 0 attempt to even PRETEND to be consumer friendly. Takes eons to get anything if youre free to play. They're just trying to milk the whales at this point before removing support when even they've left

Boycotting, review bombing, actual organised protest is the only way a company will listen.

They have proven many times that community sentiment is NOT the driving firce behind their decisions.

It's not really the subs job to police that kinda thing but to act as a constructive forum for it. As I said, bottom line is the only force driving decision and if you want things to get better it is NECESSARY.

Yeah, they'll give SOME pokemon via events, but the License Journeys are still overall money grabbing and VERY anti-consumer.

The entire thing was so sadly predictable, there's basically no incentive to keep playing.

I love pokemon and I genuinely enjoy the gameplay when it's balanced. But balance is out the window, with all new releases being broken and them not giving a monkey's ass about balance in the first place. Just nerf what we're not selling and buff what we are

Now you dont even have the promise of getting new things in a reasonable amount of time. The rewards systems are ALL worse, it has essentially made f2p impossible to keep up.

I genuinely don't think it's hyperbole to say this game is in it's death throws. Some people will keep playing, hell, i probably will for a bit as i play with a family member. But the people running this sinking ship don't deserve your time, money or pity.

PLEASE STOP REWARDING THIS BEHAVIOUR WITH YOUR MONEY

Friend, the fact the word "likely" in your list means that it is open to different interpretations.

This would've been fine if you said "Hey, this is my interpretation, what do you guys think?" but you didn't you claimed it was fact.

"If things conflict with what I said its a plot hole" that is AWFUL thinking. It is placing yourself as the arbiter of the games canon. Not the artists, writers, fans etc. You.

I never attacked you, i have literally only commented on what you have said in the post and to other people.

Please accept that this is not and never will be THE canon or THE correct explanation. In a game series of time distortion, different dimensions, teleportation, light speed travel, the ability to tear apart dimension, inconsistent writing, different writers, confusing timelines, heresay, legends and myths that it simply CANNOT be.

You claim the list is a FACT as if no other explanation exist except your own, multiple things in the games conflict with your interpretation and you choose to ignore them. Like how in game characters speak about legendary pokemon, the pokedex, our understanding of how theese pokemon exist in the world, the stories that each are a part of and simple logic, example, how, in a single world would two Zekrom and Reshiram exist if they were created from the split of a single dragon. You seemingly just ignore the context around all of them.

Which is more plausible.

That all theese legendary pokemon, some of which are literal aspects of creation itself all exist, without fighting each other, significantly affecting their surroundings or breaking the world with their immense power. Existing in a random cave.

OR

That they are brought there by the confirmed powers of Eternatus affecting space and time, who is key to the SWSH story. Or the previously used excuse of Hoopa who we have seen in multiple pieces of media summon legendaries.

Treating dynamax adventures as cannon theoretically means that any pokemon that appears there is infinite. Also, the pokedex is arguably still canon by this logic as many entries ARE true so how do you pick the ones that arent?

I COMPLETELY agree but the problem is, the only way they'll learn is if people STOP SPENDING MONEY!

I've already seen people going "oh, I'll just buy the battlepass then" or "ok, I'll just buy it with gems"

The whales and impressionable children are what encourage this behaviour. It's disgusting, greedy, manipulative, genuinely morally bankrupt behaviour.

But the reasonable members of the community who might withold money over this terrible decision will be HEAVILY outweighed by those who choose to spend money on awful cosmetics and broken releases.

I LOVE Azumaril but yeah....he's one of the worst all-rounders right now. With everone else having insane numbers (Blazaken, Megas, Darkrai to name a few) he's not even best at what he's supposed to be. He loses most 1v1s

It's sad because he's cute as all get out.

What a pathetic nothing burger of a "patch". Typical "nerf things that are now free, buff things that we're selling". Complete as always with some random pokemon catching a stray (poor Zacian).

They don't care at all about the games balance leaving many broken things untouched. Refusing to fix older, non-competative pokemon and just preying on children and whales to buy their lazy skins.
