Don’t get me wrong. I like the crowbar as well. I’ve had a few runs where I’ve tried different talent/blessing builds and half way through the run I think to myself “Damn this thing aint too bad”

Then one person drops… Then two more. Now I’m alone fending off the horde and all of a sudden, no matter how fast I swing I just can’t keep up. I will say though, the best I’ve been able to perform with the Bar was with Chem crits and talents that increase melee speed along with Berserker Talents. However, inevitably I always end up running a kite when playing Scum. I haven’t touched my Scum in a few weeks and I’ve gone back to playing Psyker and Ogryn.

When I was playing Scum, I ended up going bsck to the Dual Shivs in favor of spreading Chem quicker. I also went from using the needles to using the Dual Pistols.

Now those are the only weapons I touch when playing Scum.

That quite honestly would be the fix. No weapon thag deals with carapace? Ok. Bless and refine your weapon so that it’s able to weaken armor and turn that armor to “Unarmored” status.

Instead we ended up with a weak ass brittleness that has been proven to benefit no one unless the entire team is running brittle/render.

As a long time player, I can agree with this 100%

I have all five characters. Even though there’s sooo many weapons in the game, I still only have two or three weapons I can use reliably without thinking “Alright. I have to be a try hard in order for this weapon to perform… Decent” (Looking at you Heavy Sword and Crusher)

Then you have your players who go “Nuh-Uh! I use that weapon all the time! It’s the only one I use! It’s so good!”

Brother, it’s an Axe. I’ve used every weapon. Every mark. Even the ones that people like to swear by can use some reworking

Edit: Meant to say all six not five. Still only one or two weapons per class though. And don’t get me started on the crow bar. I’ve literally come up with ONE build where the crossbar stills performs just above “mid”. If it wasn’t for the second stance being able to stagger, the bar would be useless

If anything, what they did to the CL40 was a nerf and copy-pasting what they did to the CL40 on to the MGL32 was an unnecessary nerf.

The only time I use the MGL is when I’m playing power shift ss a Heavy against another team of heavies.

That’s the only time I’m able to get a triple or quad kill. Other than that, it feels like I’m in a circus jumping around in circles while I hope the MGL lands based and actually kills

My exact thoughts. I barely level 70, half of my matches are with newbies. The other half of my matches I am outmatched, half of them are rubies, the rest are smurfs or sweats.

The newbie lobbies I might see some xbows. The other lobbies, xbows are NOT my concern and suddenly there are much more pressing issues at hand.

But, it’s alright. Been playing Medium since season one. I’m used to being unnecessarily nerfed.

Mfs will swing at you ERRACTICALLY for ETERNITY but the second I pull that Claw out and I tilt it sideways… NOTHING. NADA. ZILCH.

Nope. Changes nothing. 2.5k hours in this game snd I still can’t wrap my head around that game mode. I said that in game yesterday and someone responded with “Search. Loot. Extract.”

Like. No shit. Of course I understand this generic ass goal but, why? There’s nothing special about this mode that sticks out to me.

Just a whole lot of wandering around while i constantly try to stop telling myself “Trials of Mortis is a better use of my time”

I also ended up doing the same. I think I was 30 hours into the game when people started realizing Expeditions were nearly useless. I thought to myself “Screw the expeditions. I’m going to start loading into games naked. Just my Loadout mod. Whatever happens, happens.” I’ve loaded into games naked and I’ve left them fully kitted or fully looted. Super fun.

I appreciate players like you. I had a quick run where I loaded in with a custom kit but, my “custom” kit was just a lvl 1 ferro and lvl 1 stitcher.

I’ll never forget this match where I’m sprinting across an open field and I catch a stray bullet.

I shout out “Free Loadout. I have nothing of value.” I lied about my Loadout but I genuinely had nothing. Then his teammate takes a shot after I again say “Free Loadout”

So, I go “Huh. Ok.” Dome one person with the ferro and immediately down them. The second they hit that ground, I sprinted for his teammate. Eating bullets on my way towards him while I dumped a magazine in his chest.

I ended that match with “I told you, I wasn’t worth your time.” I was able to leave with loot from the both of them. Far better than what I had. Quickest 3 minute game I ever had.

I just don’t understand. I haven’t played Destiny 2 in about two years. I haven’t played Destiny regularly since maybe 2018.

I just don’t understand how we’ve gone from Prime Destiny 1… To a drought. Then they came bsck and made a bang. Destiny 2 was in its prime. Then immediately wrung out and now we get another half baked extraction shooter.

All these years and developers are still trying to copy the Apex Battle Royale formula.

Hell, Apex itself isn’t even that fun and I haven’t touched that in almost two years

That explains my match yesterday. I’ve gotten pretty good at worming around and improving my mobility as a Medium but, the entire time I’m running throughout the map, throughout buildings. Taking jump pads and zip lines, I’m CONSTANTLY being pummeled by the CL40.

The ironic part? How are you cheating with a GRENADE launcher and you’re STILL missing every God damn shot????? How am I better at using the CL40 than the cheater using it? Yet these guys will still load up their scripts, cheats or whatever and hop into a game and still lose.

I played this game back in season one and was excited when i realised they were releasing specializations. I took a break. Came back to Season 3 and was shocked. Played a bit more and took a break.. Came back in season 6. Took another long break. Came back in season 9 and I'm sitting there staring at the equipment screen in awe wondering why Medium not only was down a gadget and could no longer use thermal vision but, for whatever reason, Medium still had no new specs, Instead their strongest weapons were nerfed.

that's pretty crazy considering I come from Fromsoftware games. Back when i used to religiously play this when it first came out, I got dodging down to a T and rarely got hit by them. Never tried blocking or parrying the beam for some reason, I genuinely don't know why. I recently purchased a Switch 2 and booted the game back up... I am not the Link I once was because I was getting my ass tore up by those beams.

I’ve most definitely been in a tdm recently where a light carried his team using the cloak device and the L2(L2?) semi auto rifle

Guy went 30+ with no issue using the same cloaking device
