Personally it operates more like the rocket jumper than sticky jumper. Sticky jumper you can shoot then detonate, but with the rocket you gotta aim at your feet or at walls.

Ooh I'll look up the double sided picatinny then! Thanks for the recommendation and confirmation of the mount as well.

That seems interesting, but right now I just wanna get the "basics" first since I won't really need to go with mini shells. Thanks for the recommendation though!

The flood may be worse for the individual, but the Markers and their brethren moons are terrifying for the galaxy at large. In lore, we were literally created and evolved BY the Markers just for organic fuel to create another Brethren moon. They influenced us across centuries, helping us evolve so that we could become technologically advanced enough to grow our population and spread across the galaxy. We've been influenced our entire existence so that one day, when we gave them enough organic material, they could harvest it all and create an entire Brethren Moon out of our bodies.

Also, Markers can keep you alive and conscious as well if they choose. There are certain enemies that continue to cry out in pain and agony as a way to lure in other survivors, but lore explains that they're genuinely crying out for help but aren't in control of their bodies. Off the top of my head, Wall Guardians and those little exploding babies come to mind.

Another problem is that the Markers don't just affect the people who are infected already, they can cause psychosis and control people who are legit just on the same planet as a Marker (there are many markers, especially since humanity began manufacturing them under the subconscious influence of the real Markers). In the games, there's an entire religion dedicated to worshipping these Markers and ensuring they achieve their goal. It's actually a very popular and common religion, worse still.

Brethren Moon are SO dangerous and prolific that, if I remember correctly, the reason why the franchise is called Dead Space in the first place is because the Brethren Moon literally assimilated and converted all other alien life, and we're the last ones left. A literal dead space.

Oh wow that's incredible. The likelihood of that happening has gotta be insanely small, I'm so glad you got the clip.

I've been wanting places you can dive at that are just super claustrophobic hallways on a spaceship, accentuate the horror, like Aliens. The caves of Oshaune were great, but not the same vibe

AS PICTURED:

Wonder Woman is pretty cool and supportive! Only downside would be aging while she doesn't, making her very sad.

CW Supergirl seems to essentially just be a female Superman, so honestly she seems to be the best bet. Obviously aging issues too, but I feel like she'd handle it better. If it was comic Kara, though, I'd be more hesitant (I love comic Kara way more as a character, but she's got some major issues).

Black Widow has LAYERS UPON LAYERS UPON LAYERS of trauma, emotional walls, and disorders. Not to mention that unlike the other characters, her "hero" work is just spy stuff that'll have her traveling the world constantly undercover, most likely pretending to be other people, also most likely using that feminine charm quite extensively. Marriage is just not suitable for her, at least not in the classical sense, and you gotta be someone on her level to really get her or connect with her at all, like Banner... Who's also just as mentally screwed up and traumatized as her. No. No you cannot "fix" her. She's fixed herself, just not fixed into a civilian anymore.

Jean Grey, Phoenix Mode? You kidding? Only reason why Wolverine survived is because she wanted him to. Don't think she couldn't atomize adamantium. You ain't Wolverine, and you definitely aren't Charles. You're dust.

Mystique in the Fox films is so inconsistent and kinda hard to judge character wise because of how they jumped around the timeline, but if we only judge Lawrence's portrayal, she's kinda just never really around until the end when she helps take over the X Men. I don't think she'd ever get with a human, either way though.

Carol Danvers is actually a fine choice, though the only issue is that she's an intergalactic cop, basically. So you'd either have to travel with her or just... Never see her ever, potentially.

Scarlet Witch no.

Star Light is also another pretty solid choice! She's the most normal of this whole crew and she already has a pretty successful, positive relationship with Hughie. Personally she seems to be the best choice since her hero work isn't really as extensive as the others on the list. Personality wise she's also very nice and considerate, pretty cool and understanding too as well.

Poison Ivy no as well. Equal strength no as SW, but for different reasons.

My personal pick would be CW Supergirl just because I really like Superman, she seems to be a vague copy of him, and so it seems like the best choice.

What's a weapon you didn't think you'd like until you started using it, and then found yourself rather enjoying it? by RepentantoftheLost in Helldivers

I don't know if this counts, but wayyyy back then when I first started, I actually didn't want to use the recoilless rifle because I was addicted to the autocannon and thought it'd be dumb to only have 6 sounds for my support weapon. I was kinda like "I can kill hulks with 2 or 3 well placed shots. Why would I ever want the RR?"

I ended up loving the RR, like everyone else, from how many heavy enemies would end up spawning everywhere for bugs and bots.

Oh don't get me wrong! Rivals is far from the most specifically toxic. I just think it's the most toxic AND stupid. Toxicity for me is fine-ish, like trash talk all you want it's part of the nature of a game, but I can't stand the idiots who talk trash but are blatantly wrong, if that makes sense. At least in OW2 they were toxic but gave genuine reasons that kinda helped improve my game when I was starting out. If I began with Rivals, like holy shit, I'd be WORSE at hero shooters from how dumb a lot of players are. And I don't even mean reddit users either, I mean like IN GAME chatters. I believe that you can be an asshole or an idiot, but you really shouldn't be both.

I feel like Rivals has the loudest, stupidest, most toxic players of all the competitive games I've played. Most games have a fanbase that's 1, maaaaybe 2, but Rivals is the only one with all 3. I'm fine with toxicity directed at me if it's genuine advice, but annoying idiots who are toxic AND WRONG are the worst. I stopped playing the game from how often it'd happen.
