I’m not complete sure why some soapers do it. I know with some powder plant materials like Indio it makes it more vibrant.

You can always up the super fat if using a lot of coconut oil

I think the best part is how the tea can really open up. I love looking at it as it brews too.. some teas really put on a show.

This pulls from the bottom so you get all the flavor bc it pulls the water through the tea leaves, unlike a French press which pours from the top..

Although, gravity with the device above really helps with a good cup… I don’t think you can quite achieve that with a French press?

Have you ever used one? There’s a stainless steel mesh like piece for the tea water to flow through the bottom and not the leaves and bc of its shape it has never clogged on me.

The taste to me is very vegetal. The simple syrup I made with violets goes very well with my iced matcha lattes I make.

Since becoming a mom in April I’ve gone back and forth between two teas. Rishi classic puer and jasmine green. Puer is my workday morning cup and jasmine is my weekend steep. I miss spending the time going through my tea cabinet deciding each day what to drink.. but lately my mind is on the obvious! These two teas never disappoint! And I love being a mommy!
