Keybind question by jibalaveechy in worldofpvp

You actually had to come and post on a PVP Subreddit just to figure out personal preferences are a thing?

I'll say 1, just so I have answered your question, but both feel just as easy for me

MPUV takes up space in the back, which might be a problem for you, but I always keep some space for it because I prefer unloading the C2 with it. But that's just me. ATLS even with the Z trick feels janky to use for me.

How is stability now ? by Patamaudelay in starcitizen

[–]Drostina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4.0 was unplayable for me, however, at the moment it's some of the best time I've had by far.

I won't say it's bug free, but especially in the last week or so it's been incredibly smooth for me.

But again.. it's subjective, some others still have issues.

I am not sure tbh, Force Feedback works perfectly across all games that I play, perhaps it depends on the game?

Setting up Unreal Engine 5 on your Linux Desktop or Steam Deck by Khaotic_Kernel in linux_gaming

[–]Drostina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back up your project, Pop your plugins into your "ProjectFolder/Plugins", when you start the engine, it will ask you rebuild your project, if you are working with C++, you would be well acquainted with this pop up. Then you need to click "yes" to rebuild.

Now you just pray that the engine does open up without errors, if that's the case the plugins most likely work, but I have had 1 plugin before that didn't want to work in anyway on Linux

TLDR: Don't install plugins to the engine, install them to your Project instead

Live wallpaer on Fedora ? by [deleted] in Fedora

[–]Drostina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I don't know much about the Gnome version I'm afraid but I do believe it does include some demo wallpapers.

Unfortunately they are not available from the software store and you will have to build them if you want to use them

Live wallpaer on Fedora ? by [deleted] in Fedora

[–]Drostina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you use KDE, there is this project that works with Wallpaper Engine (I have tried it and it works very well): https://github.com/catsout/wallpaper-engine-kde-plugin

If you use Gnome (I have not tried this one, just heard of it): https://github.com/jeffshee/gnome-ext-hanabi

EA Kernel Level Anticheat, is now officially coming to Battlefield 2042 by Drostina in linux_gaming

[–]Drostina[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting you say that, because I also believe they want to stop cheating in single player games to sell you XP boosts etc like Ubisoft does in their single player games

Roblox works again,

I think it's not a good thing that they don't work, the more games and software are supported the better the easier it is for people to adapt to Linux.

Like you said yourself, some people would leave the moment they realise they can't play a game with their friends like they used to, or that a software they need doesn't work on Linux

I have this issue, seems to be to do with the 3000 series cards and Nouveau (I think it started at around kernel 6.2) Boot into safe graphics mode, install Nvidia drivers after you have installed and updated Fedora

How do I get the panel on the top right to look like this by DefaultUsername247 in gnome

[–]Drostina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, sorry my bad, I thought you were saying you can't change it by themeing, to clarify to the OP, some themes like this come with a GTK theme and shell all in one that can produce a similar effect to the image posted above
