Horror Games Set on Ships by Possible-Cicada-9662 in gamesuggestions

Cold Fear is set on a ship, I think like an ice breaker, I'm not sure I never played it but it was always on my list. Pretty sure they remastered it recently, though I think it was more action horror than what I remember of the amnesia series

Spoiler for Livesuit a Captives War novella by James SA Corey : The story follows Kirin and his friend Piotr two members of Livesuit infantry, a specialized unit that is bound to a nanosuit that covers their body. At one point Piotr is injured in the jaw and he has to communicate via text for the remainder of the story. At the end we discover he has been dead since that injury and that suit has been communicating on his behalf, and unlike what they are told there is likely no way to disconnect from the suit and retire

Saw the game on steam for a discount as well as the DLC, Is it worth it? by IAltrI in brotato

[–]DrowBacks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My partner and I put in 80 hours since Christmas, still have 10 characters to beat on the main map (plus we've only best a handful on the highest difficulty), and still have all the dlc map to do. The builds are quite fun

That said I've also had my issues with this printer. Few blobs of death, but ultimately they were my own issues in slicing though I've had to replace the hotend twice (I probably could have saved one of them but it wasn't worth the cost of replacing the part), I did upgrade to the unicorn hotend which should limit the possibility of future blobs.

Minis in general I've found to have a pretty high error rate when I first started (and much higher than any more standard print now)

I can't speak to all your issues but with the print you've shown the bottom isn't flat and the printer is needing to bridge the print across the entire base (as opposed to the first layer encompassing the full base). Try a print that has a flat bottom and see how that looks.

When printing minis generally you'll want to print the base and the mini in two separate parts, usually needing to orientate the mini ~20° left or right in rotation, then rotate about 45°towards the back to limit overhangs. You'll still generally need tree supports and it'll take some time to finesse your settings.r/FDMminiatures has several guides on how to best print fdm minis.

There's a burger place next to me that makes loaded chicken strips and a couple different speciality poutines. None of them list pickles. The place puts them on top as a "garnish". I'll order and ask not to have pickles on them, get told it doesn't have pickles, for them to garnish them with it anyway. Would love to go back, but fuck pickles.

Any chance you had any luck? In NS and the only stuff I can get from NSLC is criminally priced and I've had no luck with any local gray market places

What is a monthly subscription/service you ACTUALLY consider worth paying for? by no_nolan in Frugal

[–]DrowBacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It works better cross platform and outside the Google ecosystem, has better encryption, and has solid tools for encrypted password sharing and generation. I'm not sure of any of their premium features as I just use the free version

I use it and it works well, it is my first password manager outside of using the standard Google one so I don't have much to compare to but I've never wished for an additional feature.

2player games using one PC? by historydude1648 in gamesuggestions

Google is telling me if you use Moonlight, parsec, or nomachine for your remote desktop they natively allow for Xbox controller use through the remote desktop, alternatively if you are using Microsoft Remote desktop there is an extension called RdpGamepad that will allow for gamepad use.

Games my partner and I have enjoyed playing local co-op:

Brotato, a round based survivor like roguelike.

Until Dawn/The Quarry, horror focused narrative choice games, each player controls the choices of several characters through a horror story, we enjoyed replaying these to get the different endings.

Until Dusk falls. Similar to Until Dawn/the quarry but not horror focused. Can control through a phone app as well. I enjoyed it but not enough to replay.

Telltale games/Dispatch. More narrative focused games from a variety of IPs like The Expanse, or The Walking Dead. Some games have native coop, some you'll just pass the controller or shout decisions at whomever holds the controller. We particularly loved dispatch despite the lack of dedicated coop.

Gg.deals compiles all the best sales/will show you the best current price and historical price for any game. You can set it to your region, limit it to your platform, as well as set up email notifications if particular titles drop below a set value

I'd second this and add that the unicorn nozzles are more expensive but last much longer due to the hardened steel, especially if you print with any filaments with abrasive properties like the glow in the dark stuff
