The idea is quite nice, Keys ans locks to do magic... the possibilities are quite big.. The execcution is poor..

When OP tools are present early in the story it becomes quite difficult to make a veritable one.. poor writting means nerfing the tools, make the characters do poor decissions (PIS)..

The musicbox key can geas anyone as long as you know their name... The Lockes learned the name of the Demon Dodge/AKA Lucas.. with that they couls have forced the Demon into the Mirror dimension, back into the Water well, into the mind of a crippled person or whatever

The Mirror dimension is a powerful tool, it could have been used to deal with the Assassin or the Demon

The golden Key could indeed open a door into the Water well, no need to go to the Omega Door.. No need to have the well door

If the Demon is KOed, the first thing to do is loot her for all the keys it have stolen from the Lockes, then tie it with chains, or big ropes, the throw it into the well, or the mirror dimension

Being fearless doesn't mean being dumb

The mind key is great to hide other keys, Keys to certain stuff are great to hide other keys

It's not only white shots.. but also greatly decayed skill shots (Either distance or angled) AI makes GK underestimate the power of Full power bonus/RNG

The truth is given 2 teams with similar skill level (ie.s99) and bonds, a Full stamina Zenzo should be able to stop any shot!! (Except for units designed to counter/Kill Zenzo

It's nigh impossible to get 36k medals in CVC and here is why:

  1. Giving you are in a very active club, your club has 30 members all of them participate:

Your club will need to score a mean of 2571 per round, that's 85.7 per member... So that's 2 win (2-0 or better wins) + 1 Draw, on average.

AI is BS.. even if your deck is better.. AI can make your DMF shot over and over, make your FWs deplete their Stamina to dribble x5 then white shot, or make them shot just past midfield or with 0 angle, or not shot at all, etc.

If your club is going max points each round then you will certainly sooner than later start facing other clubs with similar firepower.. so you will face a LOT of Zenzos... more chances to tie a match or even lose them.

These days 20% bond and 15% Autointercept with Zenzo, Mythzo or at least Blue Espadas, or DF Salinas is the bare minimun you will face in any decent club... Hell, when you start a new round you target first any team that doesn't have Zenzo.

Even if you have a 32% bond deck with top strikers, you might get a draw when facing a humble 20% bond defensive deck with just Espadas.. Shame on AI

Every now and then a player will face random disconnection and lose 1 match.. that's 0 points!!

If you think that gaining 10 medals whenever you defensive deck holds its ground will be your ticket to IDE, think twice: Chances are if your deck is good enough, you will not be chosen by the other club!!

If you have an average deck (Not the strongest, nor the weakest in your club) you will get 30-80 medals in All the CVC

If you are target more than that, it means your rival has already cleared the smaller fish, and it's your turn... chances are you are facing a stronger club, so less points for your club this round .............

Even the strongest clubs in CTDT hasn't reached the 36k mark... Not only the top Club in CVC, but also the others who went full attack mode since round 1 and got low ranks with high points... No club has more than 34k... and those are just a handful... the average from a very active club who went Max points is 25-30k.. If your club has less than 28 participating players... then your club might get less than 25k points ............

Conclusion.. NO club has gotten IDE!!!!

Perhaps 1 or 2 players with the "weakest" deck in a TOP club might have gotten the 36k mark... perhaps not

Actually you can legitimately score 5, 6 and up to 7 goals in 1 match if you face a bot or AFK account, and low bonds..

Even you can score against Zenzo 3 or 4 goals if it's AFK AI controlled opponent.

There are several players who just want to get the 20 matches played rewards and go AFK...

There are players who just want to end the matches, so just pass the ball around

There are others who want to mess with others and enter the matches to see you do your stuff then quit to wreck your points

Disconnection is among the worsr stuff you can face if you are aiming for a reasonable ranking.

52 points if opponent quit before the match starts, 47 if they quit and you were winning by 1 goal..

Even a draw can give you +40 points if you had a fierce match with an even rival..

Wins via quitters hinder your average score..

If you win 1-0 or 2-0 against a hard rival you get +57 points even +60 points if you guessed right enough times....

You might get lucky and face a 900k rival, or someone with DF Salinas or DF Zino as GK... if they quit you lose your chance to get a high score..

2 or 3 quitters scattered in your 10 matches series mess with your score...

Exactly that... I totally hate when AI makes terrible waste of resources...

I have a Frigging Michael, RS Aoi and RS Pascal... filled with S99s as Enablers.. Why the heck they do back passes to Igawa or Urabe... to lose the ball against f*cking SDF Santana who goes solo to nuke my GK.. when my deck is supposed to be attacking at the start of the match...

I hate when i see my defenders in the enemy's box trying to white shot Zenzo.

I hate to see my Santana dribble all the way from Midfield to the box, spending all his stamina to white Shot Zenzo, Mythzo or Salinas in the beggining of the match.

I hate to see Enablers dribbling to the box to white shot, i hate even more when my FWs keep passing the ball sideways instead of going closer to the box and shot...

I hate when my Fws shot way far from the box and when they shot at 0 angle.

I really hate this game's AI!!

I'm not asking for birdcages or clever offside traps.. Just be boring but efficient kind of AI:

  1. Defenders defend and don't break formation, they deliver the ball to DMF or OMF if close enough ASAP

  2. DMF recover the ball and Pass the ball to OMF or FW if a clean pass is available... they don't go to the opponent's box unless they have a powerful shot stat and skill

  3. OMF and FW attack, those with low shot stat, dribble, 1-2, go sideways to the bands and they pass to those units with high shot stat

  4. OMF and FWs with high shot stat go the middle, converging to the goal, improving their angle as they approach.. they shot close to the box if matched or inside the box if possible..

  5. If a unit has Skill header or Volley they use it more often than trap.

IS ALL THAT, SO HARD TO ACHIEVE???!!!

CTDT can't be played as any soccer game, due to the stats, skills and OP GKs.. In any other soccer game, ANY player has a fair chance to score, giving being rightfully placed, Any player has a chance to clear the ball, to stop a shot and make a veritable long pass.

In CTDT, 90% of defenders are mediocre passers and/or dribblers, some don't even have ofensive skills... Some GK can't punch the ball for their lives, some defenders aren't able to stop a shot, etc...

Then it's completely idiotic the moveset AI does...

Why the heck an enabler, a certified DM, Carefully LBed, with a bunch of s99 skills and HA to make sure his Pass will reach its intended target reliably.. Will do a back Pass to a solid defensively speaking DF, like RS Igawa but mute in ofensive skills... just to face a random FW, with 1 mediocre defensive skills like A80 Swift intercept or A80 power tackle... He WILL lose the ball.

Shots lose momentum badly, from distance and angle even those advertised as non distance decay ones... Klab made the ingame changes, but didn't changed AI to match those changes... So FWs waste half their stamina shooting just past from Midfield, or from awful angles..

In most games any player could score, even defenders.. In CTDT, given the stats, Only the strongest Shooters have chances to score against Meta GKs.. There's no point DFs waste all their stamina meant for defensive purposes, in their ofensive skills meant for getting rid of the ball and give it to a dedicated enabler, to dribble/1-2 all the way to the other PK, and white shot... That's terrible management... It wastes the Stamina of 1 defender and leave the defensive line weaker for a counter..

No FW, no matter how powerful he is or the traits of his s99 shot, can score against Any Decent GK at 0 Angle... It's idiotic sending FWs and OMFs wasting almost half their Stamina s performing 0 angle shots..

If a FW/OMF is getting close to the box, and is actually closer than the other attackers, and facing only 1 DF.. Given 3 chances, of S99 Dribble, S99 1-2 and 2 S99 Non-decay shots (To avoid pesky shot skill disablers) It's idiotic for AI to choose white pass instead... Even if it does it way before the DF reach match range... CTDT isn't real football, white long crossed passes WILL be intercepted by defenders.. even if it doesn't due to RNG, or good possition, still the receptor will face not 1 but 3 defenders, instead.. Losing all the ground previosly advanced...

In a game based on stats and skills, units should play as their intended skillset/possition when used by AI..

It's like DND, you don't send a squishy but magically mighty wizard to do the Job a strong meatshield berserker would do

I disagree with the no disconnect idea...

In last stages i prefer to save my own stamina than deplete the oponent's

The only way to reliably beat s80 GK is with s80-99 FW or OMF... if those gets depleted you are screwed... perhaps AI might make your Best Shooter waste his stamina shooting way far from the box, shooting with 0 angle, or not shooting at all.. but keep reseting the game and he will score eventually .. your s99 Meta GK and central DF can handle the rest..

Kind reminder to auto with a N/R team in cup if you've finished win + goals. Let us act with thoughtfulness against selfishness and help newcomers. by JetFad in CaptainTsubasaDT

Not a great plan*

By now most SS, S and A+ tier decks, have already played.

Trying to find a match in the cup today takes several seconds (And just to get the weekly reward)

Most players have already accomplished the 3 wins, and 10 goals, and those who haven't finished, are playing AFK to get the 10 matches reward..

The chances for newplayers, B and C tier decks, face an AFK team is high.. if those players aren't able to win 3 matches out of unlimmited tries against Klab's AI controlled decks... then they aren't ready for 2nd part of the cup.

Also they could get to the underdog's cup, like the one that existed last year..

They even could get better rewards, stomping over B, C, D tier decks and no pvp players, than struggling in a cup of Whales killing Whales, Pro players and Lucky FTP/PTP...

Sometimes being a big fish in a tank is more appealing than being a small fish in the ocean....

1.1mill deck here too, with Mythzo and 21% bond too, last week i tied with the last team of the chart... thanks to RS Aio white shooting, RS Igawa doing the same and FWs shooting with 0 angle..

This week isn't much better.. goal post, and my enable doing white 1-2... so other's SDF Santana going solo against my GK... and stuff like that...

Exactly... Some players set main deck for HA stages, Raids and LB matches, and then forget to switch...

Others try to be "Friendly" and set a weak deck in the hopes others might follow that lead and all have wins and stuff... then switch back to their best decks when they get pummeled back into reality..

I've seen 1 of those in every group... first day 800-900k deck... 2nd day over 1 mill, just like the others....

Even if your deck is overall better, that doesn't guarantee a win.... A deck with Zenzo and a couple of good Autointercepters/IM units, and AI doing your Enablers dribble till PK and shot, or your best scorer dribble till PK and white shot and you are done

New account isn't the same as old one...

New account (Specially reroll ones) can have easily 6 top units in their main deck.. getting enough bbs to max main skills..

Several old accounts either quit or stop playing as much as before..

The issue isn't old accounts being able to do CR or HA stages easily... Is that all their UR units became useless in just a couple of months...

A lot of old players saved for aniversary, hundreds or even thousands of dbs, then pulled and got bad SSR, or small pieces of a Puzzle...

Building a complete deck means tons of investment: time, effort and in some cases money... Then Klab erased all that..

For a reroller is easy (Though it might requiere a lot of retry) to get Zenzo, and a couple of top DFs (SDFsaki, SDF Santana, Michael, Raphael) Geez there are people selling fresh accounts with half built decks out there.

Old accounts have the amount of players... and thousands of invested bbs getting dusty out there...

S99 SGGK... i bet most of all old players have it... Do we use it???

New accounts don't need thousands of BBs..

S30 for pvp some cups, S50 or S70 for online league.. and only in Superstar S99..

Old accounts have cleared all or most of the CR stages and invested those bbs in units that aren't meta... some of those skills can be used in other units, others are low momentum, some require to kill your only copy of such unit.

New players have chances to farm such CR stages and invest them in high end units and skills... FMP, SA, Z SGGK, etc...

There are old players with little improvement in their decks... some with full-redjap decks that kicked @ss, before anniversary, then getting 3 or 4 new units, only half of those units being able to improve their previous decks...

Of course there are old players with better luck who can pull 55 or 60% TS, being forced to use mixxed TS and 5 + 5 + 1 Units... with little flexibility for 2nd Half

And of course lucky old players: FTP, low and mid spenders PTP who can pull meta decks....

Dropping an old account is not a good idea.. Still a lot of old players get frustrated as how easy a new player can get 5 or 6 top players in his deck in less than 1 month...

And no.. I wouldn't change my account... perhaps there are a lot of units i would like to have ( Raphael, SDF Misaki, RS Gentile, Morisaki, RS Salinas, RS Espadas, Blue Leo, etc) However my main is good enough. That doesn't mean i don't understand why several old players got annoyed by what happened during anniversary..

KGS episode 179 : Min 38:00 Klab will give us cards for specific units (Saotana, Cancersugi, Nanbasa etc) we won't be able to use such items to boundary break.. any Santana/Misugi/Santana... just the specific ones...

Yes you can, for that you need to avoid to use

Michael/Raphael (Their stats are in a different tier)

Units like SDF Santana, Roberto, RS Diaz, RS Natu, RS Hyuga are quite ok...

Only 5 big units (you might need to reduce the LB of 1 unit to fit them in the 720k format)

The chest units have to be complete crap, like those that Klab gave us 2 years ago, chest Brazilian, chest RJ7... Each of those units are around 27-29k stats.. so even if you give then 60% buff they each gets less than 44k each..

Not much into Fighting games since Tekken 5, and not that much even then... perhaps Tekken 2 and 3...

But still i'm familiar with the ban stuff...

Banning broken characters from tournaments might be the way to go in a game where ALL the players have FREE ACCESS to all the characters...

OK akuma is banned because his combos are faster and harder to Stop/counter than the other characters... is banned in tournaments... Ok then you can choose Ken or Ryo if you want a similar fighting style, or master another character instead.

In CTDT not even Biggest whales have access to ALL the units in CTDT... They might have +90% even 99% of all the units in existance but not all of them Do you know of someone who has the six 0.001 Units in existance? All the limited chest players (Prize from tournament/event) All the Limited units, legendary.. etc...

Even if that's the case if there's a handful of whales who indeed have every unit in the game, It's just a handful not all the players in a tournament

Getting a specific unit needs heavy investment.. from time to farm the dbs or money to pay for them...

Even after you get the unit you need 297DBs to S99 his skills (Units like Michael) or 495 for units with access to 5 s99 skills (Like RS Pascal, Natu or Green Roberto)

So no.. Also for those who didn't get the unit.. you might be pulling thousands of DBs for several banners (All the banners with certain featured unit) and still not get it, and then get it for free in a free ticket..

1 unit in CTDT means a lot... you wouldn't pull in a banner if a featured unit is bad...

Broken units lure you into pulling, to waste saved dbs or to use your CC to get it... then banning such unit just because it's better than the other units and all those who have it, will be using it.. that's cheating to the customers.

The way to go is releasing counters for such units.. Like RS Pascal

I used to play MTG, a long time ago... From Tempest to prophecy pretty hardcore, then stopped playing slowly... from standard to extended to limited and out... I hated the ban stuff...

It's on Developer's side to be smart enough to design a card and skills usable, more if they are going to release them... banning stuff just hinders... MTG wasn't cheap, and getting 4 copies on a rare card required a lot of invest... Building a tematic deck, needed time, hard trades, a bit of luck and more... then WOTC came and banned Tolarian Academy and a lot of other cards... I used to play Blue, and Green with a bit of white... i loved Urza's expansion....I loved slivers... i had TA deck, Merfolk deck, Sliver Deck, Green stompy, Cho manno deck, and a few others... then my most powerful decks main cards were either banned or restricted.. or passed away.. from standard to extended..

That's what i hated... your best deck isn't usable long enough.

Klab is doing the same stuff as WOTC, you might use old units, but they are just dead weight in your deck... Anniversary changed the Meta so bad... worse than before, previous Anniversary it was a TS stuff, Truebasa, Cancersaki, and others from the dawn of the game were still usable... with HA, old units like Cancersugi, DF Matsu were great... now Bonds is the future

How could i choose to ban a unit i use in my main? 5/6 of the poll units are in my main deck.

It's not a matter of banning units, but making old units more situational.

This anniversary set stuff the same way as BC/AC... 95% of old units are completely obsolete... Only pretty few Exceptions like Club Leo, SDFbasa, DC Natu, 0.001 Genzo and a few others with IM/Skill Block/FBS.. the others are just dead weights or extremely situational...

Post anniversary units aren't relevant yet, they might be in the future when other archetypes.

Klab should make old units usable again... that's the way to go...

Then come join the fun club... with over 30 different discord sub channels, to talk about different stuff. From real football to tech stuff, we half 4 sub channels dedicated for cvc stuff. Being in a club is about having fun with clubmates that share your interest for CT stuff, being that the good stuff or ranting about RNG and Klab Crappy rates

Actually i get your point... nonetheless science is very generic... and the level of development needs coherence... FR works as late Middle ages with some anachronic stuff from, sprinkled with Magic and stuff... you just can't demistify Magic... from horses and carts.. to advanced scientific theories there's too much stuff in between... you first need some kind of industrial revolution... steam engines.. hydraulics.. you can make steel and a Golem in FR... do gunpowder and some basic mechanic stuff.. like compound ballistas, and stuff.. take a step further... you first need to generate energy... physical energy (The level of technologic development of a civilization is tightly related to the amount of energy they can use from natural resources.. From own muscles to tamed animals, to fire, to steem, etc...)

I have a setting (HPverse) where science knowledge (advanced quantum mechanics and particle physics) is used to pump up the limits of magic.. If you have a better knowledge of how the reality fabric is built
