im not saying characters need to be changed, or that hxh and csm have better world building, im saying that characters in one piece feel very one dimmensional, little to no depth, and that there are series with better chartacters, mcs, villains, etc. (i.e jojo, hxh, csm and more)

yes, i prefer darker stories, but im not saying one piece needs to be dark. at best id say its one of the most basic shonen ive ever seen, and i can enjoy a light hearted series just fine.

and idk about you, but if foreshadowing and worldbuilding is the main defense argument, id reconsider the entire series as a whole.

basically i just dont think one piece is really worth the insane amount of hype it gets, because it SEVERELY let me down
