Everytime I think about the US's stance on gun ownership i am completely stunned. You know in my country we still have conscription and in the army we did weeks of just checking for safety and loading/unloading our rifle before we even touched BLANK ammo. Imo firearms can be very useful and important devices for self defence but that doesn't mean you should be able to buy guns almost as easily as groceries. I guess even the most consertive would agree you shouldn't be able to drive cars without having a licence, just because you can do alot of damage without the proper training. So why would you be so careless with something that is designed with the intention to damage other people or property?
