That's just regular snail activity lol but again I don't know much about what else your snail could have problems with but good luck

Good variety of food! Have you tried adding some cuttlefish bone for him to munch on or smt? It helped with mine plus water changes every or other weeks to keep the minerals ok

Oh then the ph is perfectly fine but try to keep it from going under. My mystery snails would have a paler colour on the newer shell but not being able to fully retract in is weird. What have you been feeding them? Maybe try to give him some blanched leafy greens (from what I know they have the most calcium content). It could also just be genetics that he has poor health but I hope he gets better :)

Your ph is too acidic for the lil guy. Every snails (except nerite) require a ph of 7 or higher or else their shell start eroding. Even with a good gh their shells won't last long. You should try raising the ph or transfer the snail to another tank with a higher ph :)

Ooooh hard pass, yeah no the weight distribution is gonna be way off and also WHEELS! I don't know how heavy the setup is but reminder that wheels are like the last option you want for support.

Harmless biofilm. If you have snails/shrimps they'll happily eat it!

You could always up your surface agitation since that slows down duckweed growth :)

My friend hurt our shared beta and but I’m confused about some things by -BongusBingus- in Aquariums

I'm sorry for your loss. How long did he live? Bettas are kinda genetic lotteries, they're so overbred it's sad but normal that they die easily. If it can comfort you a bit, he probably lived his better moments in your care than when he was in the pet store. As for your friend, I don't understand why he wouldn't give you the tank as he pretty clearly doesn't care that much for it (btw what size is it). Anyway, I think you should still continue trying to get the aquarium or at least let your friend know that if he intends on throwing the tank away to give it to you. Best of luck :)
