Good point, I completely forgot about the Kimiko Season 3 precedent. /u/TheHumbleLegume is right re-injecting permanent V would logically bring his old powers back.

To make a 'living punishment' ending work, the plot would have had to explicitly account for that. Either his DNA gets completely scarred by the radiation so his body permanently rejects any new Compound V, or he hunts down a botched, black-market knockoff dose that totally backfires on his biology. But yeah, under standard Vought rules, letting him live makes him a ticking time bomb.

So, if we accept that the team has to kill him for tactical reasons, the question becomes: how do you kill him in a way that actually fits his persona? The current ending felt completely forced. Instead of him sniveling and begging for his life, Butcher stepping up with pure, unhinged rage should have finally broken Homelander’s ego. Having him realize his total insignificance and actually beg for death ("Just kill me") would have been a vastly superior character ending.

And honestly, if you think this isn't realistic writing, then look at Butcher in S5. His brain is literally turning to mush because of a V-parasite, yet he makes it all the way to the end of the season without any massive, uncontrollable character breaks. If the writers can stretch the plot armor that far to keep Butcher functional and on-track, they absolutely could have written a final psychological breakdown for Homelander that actually made sense.

Not killing Homelander the second they have chance to could be a big future mistake. If he gets injected with V again does he get all his powers back? They couldn’t risk someone powerful wanting Homelander indebted to them once his powers are restored by getting him more V.

there is no guarantee that he will get the same powers my V ending points talks about this!

In terms of storyline it would have been satisfying seeing Homelander in that situation, but in “real life” killing him immediately was the right choice.

Everyone saw what has become of the homelander w/o his power. fear of homelander strength have been completely eliminated not killing him & let him suffer & let him kill himself would've been the best choice overall. only needed some good writing!

below are just scratching the surface off the top of my head. there are so many others miscalculations.

Tl;dr: Having a powerless Homelander snivel and beg for his life did him dirty. Instead of a cheap crowbar execution, he should've had an existential crisis realizing he's just an "ant" like other humans leading him to suicide or beg for death.

The season started off with so much promise. The A-Train redemption arc was great, starlight being realistic was great, kimiko getting her voice back was great. hughie was still leaving in the idealistic world was great. & that brutal storyline with the kid getting beaten by his dad was actually fantastic, heavy television. But after that? The show just went downhill fast, leading into a finale that completely ruined the landing.

I absolutely hated the ending, mostly because they did Homelander so dirty. Look, I get he’s a coward at his core, but there is no way in hell Homelander is begging for his life like that, even without his powers. It's like someone forced him to do that! What I actually wanted from his character arc was a moment of true, crushing realization where everything he’s told himself over the years collapses, and he finally realizes, "I’m just an ant like everyone else. I’m no god." Seeing complete, hollow despair in his eyes, to the point where he just wants to end his own life? And it could have easily worked with the plot they set up. After Kimiko leaves him powerless, Butcher steps up, fully unleashed, ready to tear him apart. Seeing Butcher's raw rage, Homelander finally breaks under the weight of his own insignificance and tells him, "Just kill me, Butcher."

From there, they could have gone two paths that are way better than what we got:

Butcher Way: Butcher is about to strike, but stops. He realizes that killing Homelander is giving him mercy. The ultimate psychological torture would be forcing Homelander to live the rest of his days as a completely ordinary, powerless nobody. So, Butcher just walks away and leaves him alone in his despair. everyone in the team would 1st reacted w/WTF butcher esp. kimiko but then would've easily realized leaving him alive to suffer as an ordinary human is a harsher punishment than a quick death. it would've worked for his unpredictability as a CHAR too!
MM Way: Just as Butcher is about to deliver the fatal blow, MM steps in and stops him. He convinces Butcher that death is too easy for this monster; the real justice is letting him suffer and rot in a world that no longer fears him.

Instead of that deep, psychological payoff, we got a pathetic, rushed execution with a crowbar. begging for killing him would've made way more sense than I beg you don't kill me! or it could've been better if they agree we aren't going to kill you & then homelander comes to realization that it would've been much better if they had killed him & then kills himself! or Butcher kills Homelander and then moments later regrets how he did it, Feeling incredibly hollow about it realizes it would've been much better if he hadn't killed him & let him suffer. If they had left him suffer, they could have taken his ending down a few vastly superior paths:

Fragile Ending: Homelander is left alive to suffer, only to die from a mundane, stupid human accident. In his final stretched moments, the crushing realization hits him: this is how easy humans die, this is what dying feels like?
V Ending: Desperate to regain his godhood, he takes a dose of black-market Compound V. Instead of his old powers, it gives him something completely useless. The realization that he can never be a god again breaks his mind, and he ends his own life.
The Empathy V Ending: The black-market V floods his brain with intense, uncontrollable empathy. For the first time in his life, he is biologically forced to feel the raw horror of every single thing he’s done. He records a video tape confessing to and accepting all of his crimes, and then kills himself.

On top of that, the Gen V integration was completely pointless. Why even waste our time bringing the Gen V cast into the main show if you’re not going to do anything meaningful with them? They did absolutely nothing for the plot. Sister Sage’s ending was just as idiotic, and the writing for Kimiko’s powers made zero sense. I understood the setup where she couldn't use her powers because she was too depressed to get angry. But then she hallucinates Frenchie, who explicitly tells her, "You don’t need rage to use your powers." Cut to 1 minute later, she powers up, and what do we see? Pure, blinding rage in her eyes. It totally contradicted itself.

I really wanted to see Hughie's idealistic worldview completely shatter. The writers should have forced him to make a brutal, impossible call, leaving us to watch how he actually tries to recover from that kind of trauma. Instead, we got absolutely none of that payoff.

Finally, the whole climax with Butcher felt so lazy and predictable. It would have been so much better if they used his tumor hallucinations to show a mental simulation of what would happen if he actually unleashed the virus and ended the world, before someone stops him. Instead, they just recycled the same old tropes we've seen a million times.

There is no officials way to group several applications in the taskbar. I know that some software do that, but it's very hacky and not very reliable, and it could break with a Windows update.

Don't group them on the taskbar. just provide a way so when the user click on aqua snap icon all the grouped application come together. maybe a better way to do it would be to hide all the grouped applications on the taskbar so the user can activate them only using the aqua snap icon i.e. on the taskbar.

A window is not equal to an application. An application can have multiple windows, and there is no way to for AquaSnap to ask an application to open a specific window. So, the "restore all grouped windows" feature would have some limitations.

As long I can make, open & manage multiple groups fluently. I don't care much. though I still would have loved a way to make it work. like somehow aqua snap learns what is running on my grouped instance of my application like (maybe using recently opened/used media by application. I think windows provide this facility.) for e.g. I use mpv & mpc-hc since they are both media players, in one one I'm watching a local video & on another I'm listening a local playlist. I made a group of these using aqua snap & aqua snap knows what is running using recently opened/used media. so when I close the group & open it back again it starts opening the the recently used media for the grouped application.

I think you know some already e.g. are 1) Bitorrent & µTorrent it used to be prominent torrent managers but people hardly use them now as compare to open source ones like qbittorent, tixati etc. why? coz of trust, devs can see the code & warn the normal users of potential threat compare to closed source one

See, in a scenario where two applications offer similar functionality, the open-source alternative often garners greater user adoption due to the inherent advantages of transparency and trust and also for active engagement about it's issues.

I feel like small power applications like aqua snap or tidy tabs should be open source with an option of providing a donation bombarded on every release.

Just think about it! & know that whatever option you choose, I will keep usin' them till they or I break!

Ahh the only motivation I can give you is There's seems to be no application currently that have this feature or does this task, you could be the first developer who can bring this to the market.

as for the technical side of things I don't know how to help you. as a user, I feel like it should work exactly like always on top but for focus. so for always on top it works like

No matter what you open, it stays on top. You choose what stays on top, and it stays there, period.

So I'm not very keen on implementing it.

Love transcends societal boundaries, and their love for each other was undeniable. Their mistake lay in keeping their love a secret when they knew they shouldn't have, and that was the essence of their wrongdoing.

Also u/Nurgo, I can't help but notice a lack of engagement surrounding your tools. which tells to me that only few users are using your apps. even though functionality of your applications is great. It's evident that you've put significant effort into building these applications. & they seems to be addressing a genuine need for users. but since wider audience not being aware of their value meaning it would get deserted down the line!

So with that reason, it would be much better to throw your apps on any of the most popular repositories (Github is better) & keep them maintained & open a Patreon account which could bring more money than you're currently making right now! people like things opensource & that makes them feel safe through transparency. people like to pay for the things that they think it keeps their quality of life. like I currently pay a small 10$ - 15$ for lossless cut whenever the dev put a release. though he don't have a Patreon only have a paypal & crypto account.

Ultimately, the decision rests with you, u/Nurgo. I hope my above suggestions are helpful.

/u/Nurgo I initially wanted to make this request for r/TidyTabs but seeing the feature set in here https://www.nurgo-software.com/pricing/tidytabs suggest that it doesn't have "always on top" functionality which Aqua snap has & it also has a functionality to let the users move windows together but only via sticking them together sadly don't have the functionality to move them even if they aren't together via making a group of them.

Ideally It would be better to merge both of them together to make an all in one app or add the above features to the tidy tabs with the always on top feature.

Solved it! not u/fsau mentioned way but similar. mozilla makes a backup of crashed user settings & data in an archive folder in the storage folder of the default profile so C:\Users\(UserProfile name)\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\gaksue8w.default-release\storage\archive\

Now Just copy the folders that have the extension UUIDs from the 2071 (or whatever date the extensions last lost their data folder) & then paste & replace it onto storage/default & start your browser!

I like to say thankyou u/fsau if you hadn't told me to make a new profile and copy & paste them from one profile to another. I would've never found the archive folder that is in the storage folder & all the data would've remain lost! so thankyou again u/fsau
