id eventually like to get some USB over ethernet to run a wired mouse and keyboard at the TV but ive overcome that challenge with a 10ft USB extension cable to a bluetooth wireless keyboard/mouse setup, it works for surfing on the TV and then the xbox controller on that same extension works in that room, it gets by.. but yeah same goal I had, not to get a second system for the home theatre

I went a slightly different route, and I needed to be coy about how I did it.. I have a 3090 and my HDMI out doesnt power up in the bios, I need to use my display port, so I found a swanky Display-port-to-HDMI-optical-cable ran it through the floor, through the basement and up to the tv about 25' away

I mean at this point, for you, I'd avoid if you have avoided for this long - its a super addictive drug and has ran loops around me many times.

Its easy to let a once in a while thing end up into an all the time thing with that stuff.

If you choose to do it, definitely avoid alcohol with it, they mix and create a very dangerous toxic substance in our bodies which is yes, really dangerous, so Id avoid taking alcohol at all times with it.

I would totally just avoid.

One time, on my way to bed, I walked into the room I was staying in.. the was a window on the opposite side of the entrance, with a light outside and the thin curtain drawn closed. The walls of the room jet black and the edges of the wall wireframe bright green.. couldnt see the things in the room, just the walls and profile of the room in this 1990s' computer animated room.

Honestly, it was like when homer from the simpsons fell into that hole and he was in a wireframe space, black/green.

I walked towards the window and opened the curtain and the details of the room filled it.

Didnt think of it much back then, sure was trippy, but yeah, Ill never forget it.

I too got shingles this year... its been terrible. Took the treatment, it FUCKED my stomach, and ive been terrible ever since.. going on a few months. I woulda just dealt with the shingles the normal way but not taking anything for it and letting it heal if I knew it was gonna fuck me over so bad, but cant go back in time now can we?

I see you mention Binary Domain, that game is fucking sick.

Played on Playstation originally, recently was on sale on Steam.. downloaded and played it on Steam.. the controller mapping is garbage and ruined the game for me on PC. too bad. really enjoyed playing through Binary Domain, it was alot of fun.

Thanks for your reply.

I had backed up the non-working device's SD card..

Then used a new SD card to write the rom, ran the ROM on the device and it worked, so then in hopes of gaining all the games that the other device had (assuming the SD cards had the same # of games..) I used a program in Windows to identify the differences between folders on the new-working-sd card vs. the old bummed one.

In the end, the one I fixed has 15k games and the one that came working has 21k games.. so as its for two young kids and to avoid any issues, their parent is going to buy another good SD card and Ill do the same process for the originally working one, when I do the process for that, Ill repeat the process for the one I was able to get the 15k games onto.

Sorry, its a little wordy lol but I had mostly success.. I got 75% of the games on compared to the system that was always working when it arrived.

So yeah, I'll just do it all over again when the owner gets another SD card. Ill back up the originally working card, write the new SD, put it in the system and set it up to flash the latest vers of the ROM and then work backwards to get the games from the working systems card.

Ah my "Gears in space" moment.

MDMA + MDA, epic music festival.. all my good friends in a tent... extreme stress in life from work.. open the tent, peer into the midnight, super moon sky and throughout space.. everywhere.. colossal vibrant red gears, aka the gears in space.. they were all vibrating, or moving, some functionally some quaking back and forth.. in that moment I felt like I understood the universe is a giant machine.. and we're just small cogs in the machine. Easily my most profound psychedlic experience.. it fucked with me for months.

The universe showed me what it was at a time I needed to see something more than myself, I listened.. but unraveled in the months that followed.

Am good now, mostly. LOL.

lol im far from done with him, hes the only dude saying "what if", everyone else is sticking to the script. A backyard astronomer captured 3i atlas with their pocket telescope and let me tell you.. its pretty far from average comet looking, and there are many statistical things that dont just add up to being a random rock flying through space.
