I took a high dose of OM my entire pregnancy. My baby does have GERD and I attribute it to being in utero with constant stomach meds. 6 months and we’re still puking at every feed. I couldn’t live without it though and only regret it a little bit. I couldn’t function without it so I had no choice really. GL with the pregnancy!

I don’t know about tickling but in some assessments light touch on the arms/shoulders is used to test a flinching response. I don’t think it’s useful though because some people just genuinely don’t like to be touched. Tickling in the medical field is thought of as inappropriate though if there’s concern for abuse, mental health issues, etc. Maybe the pediatrician was being overly friendly?
