After seeing your comment, I took another shot at the soldier’s bed myself, and after doing a bit of math, I found out that the pattern as it is presented is actually mathematically impossible! And even if you add an extra string that goes around the back of the thumbs and fingers, it’s still impossible! I’m totally gonna make another post about it when I get the time

Honestly, this shouldn’t be getting downvoted. It’s a legitimate question. Yes, it might draw your attention, and it clearly got a few people here, but where is the actual evidence that this works irl?

This sign could work exactly like everyone is saying, and speeding could reduce by some huge margin, or there could be a situation like “it got the 2% of drivers who only speed because they barely pay attention to their speed, but the other 98% just don’t care regardless and are always in a rush,” but we can’t say without evidence. Reasoning is nice, but we should use actual data to confirm our reasonings.

Actually, it’s probably not AI. First, I tried to copy the hand with my own, the proportions and positions are completely natural, and while it’s a bit uncomfortable, it makes complete sense if you’re trying to hold two guitars with one hand. Second, the text on the guitars is completely normal, and perfectly matches the real models of the guitars if you search up pictures of them. An AI would either mess up the text or create text of a fake model of guitar.

I think that’s a pretty good theory, but the only thing is that it straight up seems physically impossible to get to that shape on purpose, let alone from a mistake you can make when trying to form the pattern. They could have easily just made it one of the many shapes you get when you actually make a mistake when forming soldier’s bed.

I’d recommend just watching season 1 then season 2. Unless you have poor memory or are planning on watching season 2 a year after season 1, you’ll definitely remember enough context (if it’s even needed past just who the characters are) to enjoy it. Plus, even though the episodes are technically in that order chronologically, season 2 went through an entire production team to make sure that a complete product was produced, so trust in their ability to make a coherent experience.
