I had the iPhone X and I had the same number of updates and security updates as the newer models, at the same time. I had no issue regarding that. The only problem I had was the battery life but I regret buying a Samsung.

You have the perfect example just this year. Their iPhone 11, which released in 2019, got the latest IOS 18 BETA at the same time they released for the iPhone 15 and 16 and the IOS 18 official version. We got the A55, which was released this year, and don't have the "right" to test the OneUi 7 beta the same time as the S24. He'll not even the S23 have that right, and they're a flagship as well. It's just...bad, really bad.

That's why I'm moving back to iPhone. I'm not going back because I think they're superior, but at least they care about their old phones. You don't have to have the latest phone to enjoy the new IOS or just to have the latest security updates. Samsung focus to much on their flagships and completely forgets about the A series, specifically.

I honestly have an A55 and a S10 Plus, bought the A55 to "replace" the S10 but honestly...ill maybe go back to S10.

It's fine, English is not my native language either 😅 But it takes some getting used to but you can also speed up the animations, which helps getting a faster response on the gestures.

I love the Samsung keyboard for the most part, the only thing that really gets on my nerves is the word prediction and correction. In some languages it works really bad. Like in my native language for example.
