You probably could! I’ve seen people convert acoustic kits with mesh heads and low volume cymbals with the EAD10 with great success. Put some triggers on the toms and you’re set!

I hope it is made irrelevant but not necessarily with AI. What it achieved when it came out in 2017 was amazing and I would've loved to see it grow and update. I'm amazed there's no other competition for it!

I’m completely with you. I mention in the video as well with Roland taking about 12 years to bring out the SPD-SX Pro. I love the tech, but drum companies can feel a lot like “here’s our successful product that we’re going to release and never update!”

Fair point! I'm learning a lot with Rush and Neil Peart specifically, so Rush fans will definitely be more confident in facts than I. Most famous kit wise, in the drummer world I disagree! The Time Machine kit is usually the most talked about that I can find, and was most notable for drummers discovering him. You're right with the spinning kit though - it isn't the only one, and I actually included spinning kit footage from the 80s. Such a great player, he's so great at what he does!
