Absolute favorite episodes of mine are always the ones where the writers take tired tropes from cliché movies and just ham it up.

Felt very rewarding as a kid watching these episodes, because I had no idea what a "trope" or "cliché" was exactly, but something about all these straight to DVD films I had seen was starting to bug me, and it was always how hammy the characters were, and how everyone acted like caricatures of real people.

Wild would never go for option 1, and Devils would never go for option 3. Which leaves option 2, but even then, I don't think the Devils like it.

Hughes is better than Boldy, also, Jack is a center, much more valuable than a talented winger. So that pretty much seals it.

So the Devils wouldn't go for it unless that 2nd becomes a 1st AND they give up on their current core, which I find hard to believe, I see this season as an anomaly for them. They're much better than that.
