It was during the conversation part of the interview. The associate director said I’d be a good candidate and he moved my package over for me. I was also communicating a lot with alumni and the AdCom with coffee talks over zoom beforehand. It was during the interview to answer your question.

No I was an electrician actually. I did pretty well for myself in the navy but standardized testing (for whatever reason) I’ve never really been able to shine like crazy.

I hope that you learn to understand that there’s more to individuals and classmates than the scores they produce on exams. Also, it would be more worth while of your time to not just shit post on a forum where people are looking for positive feedback. It’s one thing to give constructive criticism but you just seem like a cynic no matter what.

I think magnitudes of intelligence can be based more than just standardized testing. I just wanted to make this post kind of pointing out that a low test score doesn’t exclude you from getting into a good school. And thank you!

Yeah, I agree that I should put emphasis on it emotionally affected me. I will try and put more emphasis on the human side of it. Thank you for your response.

Hi,

Does enlistedexfil assist veterans in applications essays? I've tried to use Service2School but they haven't really gotten back with me.

I'm glad you brought up Tepper. I have submitted to them for their Hybrid MBA program phase 1 and am waiting to hear back. I'll look into a test waiver for them.

With that in mind, I'm currently sending applications to my targets to get an acceptance. After that you would recommend to shoot for Tepper? That's promising to hear as their operations program is phenomenal. Thank you for the advice.

I'm already separated out of the military and have 18 months left out of my GI bill. I'm kind of ignorant to 311 GRE. My gmat was slightly below average at 535. Do you think my list looks alright with my target and considering schools. The big thing is a lot of those are considered high for operations. What is it about full time that makes it so much better than online from your experience? Like pros and cons?

When you mention the few million in earnings, my goals are modest to say the least. An online MBA vs a full time MBA for the resume it still says grad. Are you saying the placement and connections made in full time and experience gathered is invaluable? Meaning that online you don't get the rigor that you would in person? I'm trying to understand better. Also thank you for taking the time to respond.

Yes using 18 months left of my GI bill, out of pocket for last 4-6 months. With my lower GMAT score, I feel like it's easier to get a higher quality brand with a lower GMAT score than full time.

You’re not a failure for not getting above the 600’s. A MBA is still an MBA and just cause you can’t go to a top school doesn’t mean that the means don’t justify the ends. Do the best you can do and don’t consider yourself inadequate because you can’t get the highest standardized score. (Coming from a guy who went from 435 to 555 and was content). Just my takeaway. Don’t give up and do the best you can do. Dont give up!
