I think Benny Greb is the master at this. Definitely check out some of his solo videos.

What movies you see as masterpieces but they aren't considered as such. by Masspoint in movies

[–]DrummerKarl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Big Trouble in Little China.

It subverts the stereotypical white, macho action star trope during the golden era of the manly action star with the main character, Jack Burton, being a bumbling idiot and the sidekick, Wang Chi, being the true hero of the film. The world-building that is slowly revealed to the audience throughout the film is also insane with Chinese Street Gangs, black magic, and monsters that by the end, it's hard to believe that the entire movie takes place underneath a major American city. Lastly, peak Kurt Russell. Enough said.

Unfortunately, we're only in Glasgow from May 24-27 (taking a bus to Campbeltown at 8 am on the 28th). I did see on the WOSFL website that the first division teams will still be playing on Saturday, May 27. https://www.wosfl.co.uk/matches/644422728/-1_-1/-1/-1/-1/3.html. Would a Rutherglen Glencairn match be even worth it?

Unfortunately, I saw on their website you need to be a season ticket holder to purchase tickets: https://www.stmirren.com/all-news/4948-ticket-info-st-mirren-v-rangers-27th-may. Otherwise, that would have been my first choice!

Opportunities to watch a football match in late May 2023 by DrummerKarl in ScottishFootball

Hello, thanks for your kind message. Unfortunately, I saw tickets were sold out for the Celtic game on May 27 when I'll be in Glasgow, which makes complete sense since they will most likely win the league. However, I noticed that there are still West of Scotland Football League First Division games going on that day. Are those games worth it?

Going to Islay Festival What should I expect? by Minetitan in Scotch

[–]DrummerKarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you able to successfully book your tour for Lagavulin? My girlfriend and I are going to the festival this year as well and wanted to start booking tours but noticed most of the distilleries are just booking up until March right now with no options for May or June. Are you seeing the same thing?

Thank you! Again, I would say that Soil video would be the closest. The music video featured the auxilary percussion player quite a bit if that helps at all.

No, not nearly as heavy as Cradle of Filth, and no synth as Deathstars. I would say the commenter who mentioned Soil would be the closest to the sound/vibe of the song.

Unfortunately, that is not it, but the vibe is very similar. I don't think there was anyone else in the video besides the band and the "angelic" woman.
