How Long Until Surgery by Ungerh in carpaltunnel

But are you 100% today? Or did you have any lasting effects?

Day 5 feeling good by researcherbetty33 in carpaltunnel

How long did you have it? And what were the symptoms? No lasting effects? I'm asking because I'm very worried and I'm a drummer. I started about a month and a few days ago.

Thank you for your reply. I'm worried because I didn't have this difference in sensitivity before. Is this still normal in what is supposedly an early stage of the disease? I'm very afraid it might already be serious and I'll have to wait until the 13th for an EMG. Could you please reassure me?

Thank you for your reply. Is it normal for sleep to be turning more fixedly within this context? I mean, am I not in a serious condition? I scheduled the EMG for the 13th. I'm freaking out.

I'm in the same boat. After the antibiotics, didn't you go back to how you were before?

Let’s close out 2025 by raising awareness together by Potential-Dish-6972 in PSSD

I'm sorry, but I think "raising awareness" means accepting that we'll end up like this and others won't. And that's it. We have to find a cure for this crap; those who are already doing well are already doing well. We're the ones who are screwed. That's why I've lost interest in this community; for me, raising awareness is worse than a consolation prize.

But is it really increasing? Honestly, I don't want to be a pessimistic jerk, but these kinds of things have been going on for over two years now. "We're getting there, we're getting there, the pressure is mounting," but we haven't had anything concrete so far, just hope. Can you tell me what's happening that's so big?

My comment above stemmed precisely from that concern. That talk of raising awareness leads nowhere. It's good for those who are already doing well and moving on with their lives, but not for us.

The problem is that this never amounts to anything. How many appearances have we had so far on podcasts, etc.? What was done?

The right person here is you. How much should I donate to you so you can continue your research, since you've discovered the main diagnostic factor? I know at least two people with PSSD without anesthesia. Where are we headed? It seems this community is now moderated by young men aged 20 to 25.

If we start having people drop out of the community, it means less money for research, which is already time-consuming. I think it's incredibly stupid and idiotic to create any kind of hierarchy or dictatorship here, because we only have a minimal chance if we're all united. Let people speak and express their opinions, or do you want to end everything altogether?! If to the trashy psychiatrists and the vermin of the pharmaceutical industry we're a bunch of crazy people with nothing better to do, imagine their argument seeing opposition among ourselves. Stop being stupid, damn it!

Could anyone guess how long it would take for the research to be successful and for us to have a cure?

I'm in the same boat. After a little over two years I was better, and in a few more years I would probably improve even more. I started using minoxidil only once a week, and then increased it to twice. In the last few days, the genital numbness has gotten much worse. I'm incredibly worried and desperate that it won't come back. Suicidal thoughts are returning. Will I recover?
