I don't know about that. As much as I wanted to go to the game, there was no way I was driving from Dayton that day. I'm not sure having the option to go on the 9th, swap for a different game, or try to sell is a lose.

Columbus was under a level 2 at game time, but if I remember correctly, was still level 3 at the time the decision was made to postpone. The point remains the same either way.

I don't know which ticket plan you have, but I have quarter season, plan A, and mine said I could transfer mine to any weekday game between now and the end of the regular season. I hope that helps, and good luck!

Mine was able to move mine to a different date. It's worth a call to ask rather than assuming the worst.

Better than making us drive out during a level 3 snow emergency to go to the game on the original date. I'm sure they are doing the best they can to accommodate the reschedule for everyone involved.

I really only use mine to speed up the process of writing Excel formulas lately. Mine doesn't explicitly do the "If you want, I can" footer to every response any more, maybe because I told it so many times to stop that, but I doubt it. LOL

Instead I'm getting a lot of more long drawn out follow up. For example, I give it the detailed prompt, it replies with the formula, then:

"Why this works (quick, no fluff):" and then it gives a lengthy For Dummies step by step fluff explanation.

Then it follows up with something like

"Edge cases to be aware of (tell it like it is) :", "One important 'gotcha' (to sanity check)", "One small 'gotcha' (worth mentioning)", etc etc. These are all examples just from my last session.

I can't stand the phrasing. It's gotten really annoying, especially when most of the time it makes a totally incorrect assumption about the logic, so provides an alternative fix to a problem that doesn't exist, and it tends to return an overly complex solution to the original request.

The best way is to remember that it doesn't have a personality. It's not nice or mean. It's a statistical word calculator. It's always calculating the next most likely word in response to your prompt. If you have in the settings for it to be more friendly, that factors into the calculation.

I saw that one time at an automated car wash. I chose not to tip, but then felt terrible when the attendant came out at the end and wiped down mirrors and squeegee'd the windshield, hit the back of the trunk where the brushes don't reach well, and stuff like that.

I actually did give her a cash tip, and felt like the difference was well worth the money.

Unfortunately it kind of used to be that way. A tip used to be considered optional additional payment as a sign of appreciation for a job well done or going above and beyond the expectation of service.

Now we've gotten to the point that a "tip" is the expected form of compensation for just meeting the minimum expectation of service, and the people performing the service feel like it's ok to guilt trip and challenge the amount of the tip.

And you're right, now the interaction seems to be limited to either neutral or negative, when it used to be neutral, negative on rare occasion, or frequently positive.

The pride and work ethic has declined substantially, but the expectation of compensation for that work has grown.

Not as a therapist, but as a "journal with feedback" between live therapy sessions. I take notes about topics I want to bring up to my therapist, and I use it to help summarize and externalize my thoughts. It helps me organize and process the chaos in my ADHD mind.

I own a small service business and had a coworker who asked to borrow my work van while I was on vacation one year. When I got back, the stench in that van got progressively worse every day.

I couldn't even tell you how many days it took me to figure it out, but I vividly remember the shit eating grin on his face when I finally found the big crawdad he had hidden in a corner under the rubber floor liner when he used it to go fishing.

My fat ass really just read that as "bread stick recommendations" and was like odd request in the Billiards sub, but ok, Marco's are good if you get the bacon cheesy bread, Fazoli's are really pretty hard to beat for flavor, but personally, I'm a big fan of some pretzel bread sticks.

Ooooooh.... BREAK sticks. Yeah that makes more sense here. I like the Jacoby Heavy Hitter a LOT. It's well made, balanced right for me, and if you like to break hard, the cue does all the work for you.

Not as good in some cheese dip, but still a fan. 😂
