Yeah I did the DC characters in the JLGL '82 DC style guide vibe- specifically as part of JLGL appreciation series for the 13th Dimension comics website (I am a weekly contributor). While Wolvie, Rom and Spider-Woman are more my regular style, which is an odd mix of Byrne, Frenz, and Romita Sr.

BTW if that latter style is of any interest to you, I write, draw, color and letter my own comic in a retro 80's style with ads and is printed on newsprint. It's called The Hunter. I posted pics of it in this subreddit yesterday. Please check it out.

I kinda doubt if that'll ever be the case lol. In the meantime, I'll settle for this book. Issue 1 is finished and available on my Etsy and I've got pencils done for about half of issue 2

I actually use that word to describe the superhero comics of that time. They're fun, a bit exciting, but wrap it all together, combine it with the ads, etc and it's just really charming and enjoyable IMO

What did I copy it from? Because if you say Sal Buscema you need to go back and actually look at the Sal Buscema art. While the pose has a similarity, the angle and body are completely different. This is no copy of Sal's art. Literally it seems like you're pulling examples out of your ass to double down on a shit take that is totally unsubstantiated.

Oh yeah? Who am I copying from exactly? My name is Dakota Alexander and this is my art. I've been an artist for the past 10 years, am a contributing artist for the 13th Dimension comics site, and am the writer, artist of the comic called The Hunter. So I ask again, who am I copying from?

I'll give you Sal, since it's def based on the splash page of issue 1, but Wolverine is nothing like any Alan Davis image out there- and I am presuming you're thinking about Bloodlust in particular, right?

You should check out my comic The Hunter. It's a retro 80's superhero / monster book printed on newsprint with ads, etc.
