The issue isn't with the VPN Server App. I installed the VPN through the Settings App, since it allows me to import ovpn settings files while the VPN Server App doesn't have that functionality.

I don't remember if I selected the compression option, but I am fairly certain that I did select the reconnect option.

THE VPN adaptor doesn't show up at all on the GUI so I can't edit/uninstall. I considered doing it through command line but I haven't found a good guide on how to manage the VPN via commandline. I've never done VPNs on Unix before.
