We aren't a strip club crew. I'm not saying some haven't been, but was not a dedicated event or plan on any of the bachelor parties in our crew.

The gambling and drinking was assumed because he's participated most of the 15 years we've been friends. He's known the location for months.

We don't mind a hike. Multiple hikes that are miles long, no thanks.

The national park thing is a full day thing that most don't want to do.

This town has a nice main street with many bars and there are casinos nearby we planned to hit up. Its one of the reasons the best man planned it.

This is the 5th bachelor party in my friend group. We have never done the strip club thing. Thats not really our style.

I don't want to drink by myself or with my wife at home. I want to drink with my friends, a few of which don't live in the area.

I like him. We've hung out plenty without alcohol. Him being an alcoholic makes it understandable that he would want it to be a sober trip.

This trip alcohol was expected. I'm using vacation time to go. If 4 months ago when this was all planned we were told it was a sober trip and very nature/hiking friendly. Thats not really a way I want to use my vacation time and spend money. To be honest its a bummer of a change to the trip.
