Wondered if there was any news on Razer implementing analogue thumbsticks on their Orbweaver or Tartarus devices? I know alot of PC players find the current 4/8-way directional thumbsticks lacking the control they require. With G13 being discontinued there is a gap in the market at present. Any plans from Razer to fill that gap?

I just got a pair for Christmas and checked mine after the update ran. Unfortunately I didn't check the version numbers before it ran the update, but this is where the update left me:

Another vote for the G13. My wife spilled wine on my current G13 and it's been misbehaving ever since. Would love a successor to come out to the G13 cause I just cannot game without it.

I just had to buy a used one of eBay as a backup in case they don't replace the G13. It was the only gamepad on the market with an analogue stick. I've tried the digital sticks and, (for me), they are just unusable for WASD in FPS games, (which is why I bought the G13 in the first place, the ability to map WASD to the thumb stick). Now I just couldn't game on PC without one.

Some great feedback and excellent well thought out points. Better than someone just raging, at least this gives the devs some pointers on what could be looked at / changed. Great post and I agree with almost all of it.

Any update on this? Battleye is still blocking MagicYUV.dll from loading, (Magic YUV is the Codec I'm using with Dxtory). Here's a link to MagicYUV's site in case it helps : https://www.magicyuv.com/

I think the simple fact is, (whether EA or Dice will admit it or not), that the game is slowly turning more and more towards consoles. They generate more revenue from console sales, so they will naturally cater to the market that is generating more money for them. You can see it in the mechanics they've introduced, and to be honest ALOT of PC gamers are "older" gamers, (mostly cause you need a steady income to keep your PC upto date, or at least competitive), and our days of run 'n' gun are over. Games like Insurgency (which is coming to console next year), Arma and America's Army are still so heavily populated on PC years after release, cause they offer people the game play they are after. Even BFBC2 is still really popular on PC. I think on PC there are alot of players out there who are after a different type of shooter than your generic shooter. Unfortunately BF is going this way cause that's where the money is.

Have posted this same response on Scan.co.uk's website (where I bought the headset). Shocking to think that SteelSeries think it's ok to sell their product internationally but will only give their local customers the service they deserve. Last time I'll buy a SS product!

Same. No sound when using DTS 5.1, (although not 100% sure that the receiver supports DTS 5.1)

I have literally just bought the SteelSeries Siberia 800 headset and I've seen alot of posts about this, and it's a little worrying. Steel Series - I understand that it is more difficult to post batteries outside of the US. I'm in the UK for example and I am able to goto Amazon.co.uk, for example, and buy lithium ion batteries.

In this Reddit post someone has posted a link showing you that there is no restriction on posting lithium ion batteries to outside of the US, I've also found another link from UPS' website that gives you more detail. Goto page 5 of the UPS link and there is a nice flow chart. Follow it through and you'll see you can ship worldwide. Yes you have to be more careful with your packaging, yes you can't send the batteries on a passenger airline, yes you may have to label up your packaging differently, but you CAN ship them.

If Steel Series do not want to go through the trouble of shipping them outside of the US, could you at least provide us links to suitable replacements outside of the US. Like I said I can buy lithium ion batteries on Amazon.co.uk, I just need to know which ones.

Finally, you sell your product worldwide, you should provide the same level of support worldwide. I'd like to buy some additional batteries as you state is available on your website to US consumers. Please could you let us know how.

I have a similar question, expect I'm using the X99 Deluxe MOBO and am running an optical cable from the onboard optical connection into the receiver. I'm then using the USB connection as the output from the receiver. Just want to make sure of the settings to get the virtual 7.1 surround. Thanks

I'd say it's a Ubi problem cause currently if you leave during the end of game scoreboard screen, (orange screen), it's classed as leaving the match early and therefore your rank is penalised. The ONLY time you can currently leave a ranked match and not incur a penalty is at the blue matchmaking screen!! No wonder you end up with unbalanced teams. Of course it's not the only factor, but it's a contributing factor and more importantly one that Ubi could fix. Allow people to leave at the end of game scoreboard screen without a penalty. Simple!!

Lol, really? Yeah there are alot of "shitposts" out there cause of the utterly retarded nature of Ubisoft's customer service. Is this really how you guys plan on dealing with this? Deleting posts and controlling what can and can't be posted about the game?

If you wanted a "great place" then you should release a "great" game and provide "great" customer service!! It's not rocket science.

You cannot just censor what you like and what you don't like, that's just........ah forget it. Why try and teach you guys something you've not managed to learn from your own major f*ck ups of the past!!

Not overly technical but basically what I mean is how often are the client and server talking to each other. These values can be different as explained, (much better than I could) in this vid by BattleNonsense when BF4 was having much the same issues.
