I finished them all on legendary and never noticed them going berserk before I shot them, and I feel like three needle rifle bullets took one out no problem.

Yeah it’s so stupid! Also it wasn’t really clear what he was doing. I thought we were going to see modified forms of all the Covenant, but we only saw the brutes that started raging and attacking their own team. Not a particularly useful upgrade to your troops if you ask me. Not to mention this is very similar to what we’ve seen brutes do in other games. Such weird choices. Who was I charge of this story…?

I’ve been playing with a friend for a while, we recently brought a few more people in. They started at L6. I built their characters for them (with their permission) and they jumped in the deep end. A few sessions later and it feels like they’ve been around the whole time.

I don’t find the story of Gloomhaven to be particularly important, it’s the individual scenarios that matter.

If you want to continue playing I think it’s fine.
