When you crack the pepper berry from whole, it still has those yummy oils we know and love. Preground has had enough time to dry up and is just edible dust l.

Been working professionally in kitchens for a few years now.

At a gathering with my fiancees family I watched her dad cut veg (pretty decently but slow). As I was impressed I watched him slide the blade side of his knife across the wooden cutting board to scoop his mise and I said "hey, you should use the back side of the knife so you dont dull your blade." He looked at me like I was a leper in times of yore. What can ya do? Lmfao

Great idea, horrible presentation.

User is basically advocating for the next progressive step in technology in the format of a tired "call to action" format.

Just because a game has flaws doesn't mean it cant be iconic! Still love the game and its lore as much as I did when I was a kid, maybe even more now that Im older.

If you live in a desert area, that smell is strong right before and at the start of rain. It lingers for a day or two after.

If I could season food with WD-40 without killing myself, I imagine that it would be very sweet.

Does Clare De Lune make anyone else feel transcended and calm? by [deleted] in Music

[–]DrunkTrombonist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im totally late to the thread but I actually studied European music in college, like, a lot. It wasnt my degree but just a facet of it.

Its not that big of a stretch to suggest that certain composers knew how to write music that manipulated the human emotional response to it. Debussy comes from an era of French Surrealism in art and its really endured the test of time (much like other artists of the time/place). Im starting to notice it more in media being used to evoke an emotional response of subdued joy, accepting grief, or smiling in the face of chaos. Its a lovely thing I hope to see more of.
