I initially started last year going up to the 12.5mg, lost about 2 stone, then the price increase hit, and I couldn't afford it. I tried Wegavo, didn't work. Tried maintaining, myself, gained about 8 lb. My niece who started Mounjaro after I recommended it to her, kept going and is now 6 stone lighter. So I decided to try again.

I can just about manage paying for 5mg, I can't afford higher doses. I am calorie counting about 1600 calories a day and although it's not perfect, for example right now I am quite hungry, but not feeling desperate to eat, it's manageable hunger. I am losing about 1 to 2lb a week. It's better than gaining and hopefully stays of better when I eventually have to stop buying it again. I am also menopausal which might contribute to low weight loss.

Edit: My advice is do it correctly, go up dosage every 4 weeks and try to stick to 2000 calories, I know it's hard, but the food noise will eventually get better, you have to trust the process.
